Jesse Campbell said:What exactly should I stay quiet about? We’re a unique breed in all of Europe because we’ve spent, what, 23 out of the last 27 years fighting battles? And let me be clear: they were righteous fights. No one can sit here and tell me other fan groups haven't had even bigger reasons to take to the streets. But those people? They just sat there like cowards, watching their clubs slide into moral, financial, and athletic bankruptcy...
I honestly don't get why you're all getting so worked up over me talking about our own group. Is this somehow about you? I even gave you guys credit earlier, noting that you reacted far better than you did back in the 90s when you spent ten years chanting "there is no more Dynamo," yet now you're choosing to stay silent... What else am I supposed to do?
Honestly, you lot are as exhausting as a bout of dysentery.
Back in the nineties, they used to mock us with songs about how everything was fine while saying "there is no more Dynamo," but in this current situation, the chants are about loving Mamić and Bandić... So really, the reaction hasn't changed at all. It's perfectly natural that they didn't react, because in the world of fandom, you rub salt in the wound of your rival. You have to look at our own provocations toward them in that same context (like that old message from 2008: claiming they swear by Ajax but won't give him a single cent!).
The Armada sings to us, "you're just Zdravko Mamić's private army"... that kind of provocation is exactly what's required. If it weren't, it wouldn't be true fandom; it would be abnormal.
It’s a bizarre scene, really—watching different groups publicly support and cheer for one another, even though every single one of them holds virtually identical values when it comes to fighting against organized crime, theft, monopolies, and the various other anomalies plaguing the game of football.
