They don't carry Coolermaster liquid cooling at Future Shop—and honestly, I probably wouldn't go for it over a Corsair anyway, I guess.

Don't take this the wrong way, but I actually have some decent money to work with—and I hang out with a crowd that does too—so nothing really surprises me here; someone in my circle is upgrading or buying something new almost every year. Besides, I haven't actually posted that many threads—I think I had two where I built things myself, and maybe two or three others just out of curiosity—and I haven't even been active on this forum for about seven months, I believe.
Can someone just answer my question so we can move past the arguing?

Why, though? I don't think I said anything wrong...
A friend of mine is picking up a PC this week for high end gaming—budgeting around $2,200—and he asked me to put together a list. I’ve drafted this build based on what I personally prefer, and I wouldn't want him cutting corners on certain parts if we can help it. I suppose I just need to know if anyone sees any major red flags or reliability issues with specific components; if everything looks solid to you, I'll give him the green light, and then we might head over to Best Buy together.

I honestly don't get why everyone is just sitting around waiting instead of pushing back—it seems like they're just hitting whoever they can get their hands on at this point. I guess it's either because people are genuinely terrified of retaliation, or maybe they've just been suppressed so much that nobody feels like they can even try to take action anymore.
I think I'm going to go with this AMD version—I feel like I'll get a bit more bang for my buck compared to the Intel option. Thanks for all the help!
So, a buddy of mine decided he finally wants to build a gaming rig, and I suggested he start a thread here—mostly because you guys were such a huge help when we were picking out his CPU cooler. Plus, there are plenty of experts around who know their way around a build, and since he's right here in Los Angeles, we won't even need to worry about shipping... he can just settle up in cash!
