Politics: Is it possible to limit the number of posts per topic?

We have moderators whose job is to monitor the quality of the discussion, so you should just reach out to them if you notice a thread being trashed. Putting a cap on the number of posts would end up cutting off plenty of great contributions, and that would be a real shame.

Anything is technically possible; the real question is whether it's actually smart. 🙂
