Both options have their merits. If I’m buying something brand new with a full warranty, I’d be willing to shell out close to $2,000. But for used gear? I’m not going any higher than $1,600 or $1,700. Hey everyone. I’m looking to finally move on from my old HD 7970 OC 3GB. It’s served its purpose, but I need something with more teeth for gaming.

Right now, I’m running an ASUS B75 Pro3 paired with an Intel Core i7 3770, and I've got 16 GB of RAM under the hood.

My budget sits somewhere around $1500—$667.
