Crispy Pops in Miscellaneous ·
Chris Edwards4 said:I mean, what can I even say? It's not like I passed on them because I changed my mind, there just wasn't any left on the shelf... all I saw was an empty fridge space where they used to be, which clearly means a ton of people decided to grab some... though obviously, that doesn't make them good or healthy for you ☕

I figured I’d stir the pot in this thread a little bit.
Don't you think those "famous" Crispy Pops are actually just that total junk food garbage Americans call a Chicken Nugget??

Just to be clear, I haven't bought them or actually tasted them from some...

If that's really what they are, then here's the deal: they take scraps and mash up the worst parts of the chicken, skin and all, toss in a bunch of additives to fake the flavor
(probably stuff that makes you feel like exploding if you eat too much...) and whatever else
(a quick Google search didn't help much—I couldn't even find a proper list of "ingredients"...)
And then they BEAUTIFULLY COAT IT ALL in breadcrumbs and fry it up... as if it's somehow packed with nutrition!

Look, let people enjoy themselves—I have nothing against someone grabbing a quick bite when they're in a rush... as long as they don't start feeding this crap to our kids in daycare and schools...
Thanks, I actually got a few more replies in my inbox too, and honestly, everyone is basically telling me it’s going to be fine—thanks for the input, I can finally get some actual sleep tonight...
Hey everyone,
has anyone here dealt with forearm fractures in kids before?
Even though the doctor over at Cleveland Children’s said everything is pretty much within the normal range, he sent my kid
(who's 8 and a half) to physical therapy because there's this thickening where the bone started knitting back together, and he claimed the irregularities would just smooth out as she grows—remodeling, as he put it...
But honestly, her little arm looks weird to me, it just looks way too crooked to be dismissed as just swelling or just a tiny bump from the healing process.
I mean, clearly things aren't perfect if his only solution is "it'll fix itself while she grows" but still....
Even the physiatrist today wasn't making any sense when I tried questioning her—she couldn't even compare it to a pre-injury X-ray since she didn't have the old images handy.
Now, I know the doctor at Cleveland is top-tier and incredibly experienced, but the place was such a total madhouse and so packed that he barely even checked her age properly, let alone gave me a chance to actually voice my concerns... we basically got shoved out the door the second the cast came off...

She’s supposed to start physical therapy the day after tomorrow, so I'm wondering if anyone else has been through something similar?
If you think I should get a second opinion, should I head over to Drakesh?

Actually, I'd love to have one more serious talk with the doctor at Cleveland, maybe without the kid present, but I have no clue how to even get a hold of him—how am I supposed to book a follow-up appointment quickly in that absolute circus of a hospital...

My biggest worry is whether they can even reset or fix the arm once a certain amount of time has passed...

If anyone has any insight or experience, I'd really appreciate it...
