GPU Buying Guide - (Read first post)

I picked up an Nvidia GeForce GTX 460 and went to check my updated specs in Windows 7—before I could even get started, the whole system just locked up. I couldn't even pull up Task Manager or move the mouse. I tried installing the latest drivers and attempted to launch CS, but I ran into the exact same issue. Any ideas what might be going on? Everything worked perfectly fine when I was running a 9600GT...
