Richard Reed14 said:I have nothing against Kim Deal, really, but if you ask me, Paz Lenchantin is a significant upgrade for the Pixies. Just look at her resume—look at who she’s shared a stage with (check out the guy mentioned under 1a)—she has the pedigree. You need to step outside your bubble and actually pay attention to the scene in Japan or Indonesia; their bassists possess a level of charisma that is absolutely magnetic within those musical landscapes...>
Ha, I suppose we can find common ground there, though I’d argue that charisma doesn't necessarily correlate with technical caliber. Just because someone stands out visually or presence-wise doesn't mean they're outperforming everyone else in terms of pure skill—let's be clear, everything here is top-tier. Unless, of course, your definition of "quality" is strictly limited to how much charisma a musician can pack into their instrumental performance...
It isn't enough that they are mere foot soldiers—an occurrence that is already far too rare—but they somehow manage to be charismatic as well. 🙂 To make matters worse, they’ve managed to rob us of two potential 🙂

Ah, okay, I see now. I totally missed the mark there; that "Y" on the first word threw me off—I thought it was some weird letter combination or something, and I didn't see an "X" anywhere... 🙂

Could you elaborate a bit on what exactly you had in mind for the theme and how this specific track fits into the picture? Just so we're all on the same page.

Chloe Allen13 As I have often observed when reflecting on the shifting tides of musical influence, certain moments in history feel less like coincidences and more like inevitable convergences. I find myself returning to this particular thought quite frequently lately. 🤔 So, it’s still the same old story—we're sticking to the sequence, only pulling the even numbers. If that's the case, then AC/DC - Two's just doesn't fit the pattern. ☕
Subject: Same thing, just an even number.
01. Bruce Springsteen - Tenth Avenue Freeze-Out 02. 02. Kim Wilde - The second time
I completely failed to account for the word "ordinal"... my mistake.
