If you’re feeling up to it, give it another shot.

I’m going to go through this entire thread and review every single post. Sure, there was plenty of spam and trolling, but I want to pinpoint the specific triggers and offer some ground rules to prevent this kind of meltdown from happening again.

By the way, excuse me if I'm being a bit paranoid🤷 ,but given the nature of these discussions, you really have to account for those fringe elements—the ones that look minor on the surface but are actually quite systematic and very much a reality.

Ultimately, the decision on whether I dive back in is up to me.

In any case, thanks for the response and for giving me a realistic look at why the thread was shut down. It makes sense.

I'll be in touch when I have the bandwidth and enough free time to properly manage this on the forum.

Best.

Right when things are heating up on the political stage in Mexico, the US, and Canada regarding the overall status of the Sandzak Canadian community, this topic was suddenly shut down. There was zero explanation as to who closed it or why; it was just tossed into the statistical "ignore" pile, sliding down the list of political topics until it hits the second page of any browser. What that signifies should be obvious to everyone.

Without trying to stir the pot, can any of the admins or moderators give a public answer as to why this thread was locked?

Are we looking at formal procedural issues or ideological ones?

Is this an attempt by a select group of interested parties—rather than the general public—to ensure that topics which implicitly affect them get shut down, or is there some other "third" reason at play?

The thing is, this thread existed for five months before being closed. Was those five months of discussion, the post count, and the view count enough to justify its own existence and the relevance of the questions it raises? Or were we waiting five months to rack up enough "negative" points just to kill the thread? It doesn't feel like a lack of interest; it feels like a deliberate move to suppress a specific public interest, essentially signaling that such interests are systematically out of alignment with current trends or undesirable.

That isn't democracy; it’s ideology in action.

Events in Sandzak are moving with their usual intensity, yet the forum is being denied the chance to hear from opponents and allies alike who actually have the intellectual capacity to approach the arguments neutrally and constructively.

Ultimately, if this forum is supposed to be a place for diverse viewpoints under specific, established rules, then ignoring those rules doesn't discredit the topic—it discredits the people running the show. There’s a massive difference there, and I think we can all agree on that.

Silencing an individual interlocutor is one thing, and arguably necessary sometimes, but suppressing an entire, specific topic that represents an unstoppable historical movement in that region can only be interpreted as a ban on expressing personal opinionswithin, again, previously defined boundaries.
