Olivia Lee12 said:Exactly. People really need to pick up a book and learn that you don't merge those words together. And as for that trashy pop music they play everywhere? It’s absolute bottom-of-the-barrel garbage. I shouldn't have to explain why it's pathetic—just listen to the lyrics or catch a few seconds of those singers wailing over a beat and you'll see what I mean.

You're just bitter because those girls are better looking than you, let's be honest.😁

Honestly, if you’re actually judging a person's fundamental character or the integrity of their actions based solely on the music they listen to, then I really don't know what to say to you. Let me be clear: I'm not trying to suggest that small towns playing country music are some kind of utopia free from violence, guns, drugs, or any other nonsense. My point is that those things happen everywhere, and nobody makes a massive scene about it. But heaven forbid a fight breaks out in front of a club playing country—suddenly everyone starts shouting about how all the criminals, junkies, and lowlifes gather there. Yet, if the exact same thing happens outside a rock club, people just shrug and say, "Oh, those guys just had a few too many drinks and got rowdy." It's honestly pathetic when people who aren't sure of themselves try to justify their own biases by looking down on others, and the same logic applies to music. If you love rock or metal, good for you, man; I have nothing against it... in fact, I actually respect seeing someone stick to their style without giving a damn what anyone else thinks.

👍👍👍

I've lost count of how many times my "metalhead brothers" have turned out to be absolute trash, while the local guys from the neighborhood who mostly listen to country end up being a solid, decent crew. You shouldn't look at it that way.

There are certainly folks who listen to country music but also appreciate much higher quality stuff, which shows they have more depth than just that one genre. However, from my own experience, the people exclusively listening to that type of music tend to come from—or were raised in—pretty primitive environments, and they usually flock to the venues where it's played because they simply don't know anything better. I try to steer clear of those spots myself since they frequently turn into hotspots for fights and other nonsense, but honestly, at the end of the day, everyone makes their own choices and enjoys what they enjoy. I'm not trying to offend anyone who listens to it; I'm just sharing my observations on the matter.

Well, you see huge crowds listening to country music in NYC all the time, so why would that be considered a primitive environment?🤷
I’m not really into that kind of music, to be honest. About two weeks ago, I ended up at one of those clubs playing it, and while the crowd was alright—and there were plenty of gorgeous women there—it was pretty chaotic. Everyone was completely wasted, and in the thirty minutes I was actually inside, three or four fights broke out that spilled right out onto the street, all because people were fighting over women 😁 I had been drinking quite a bit myself, so my memory of the night is a little fuzzy, but I strictly listen to metal, so it wasn't my scene. I was there with two female friends, and it turned out okay; even though the music was terrible, I stuck it out just for them. It wasn't an entirely bad experience, mostly because there were plenty of girls around 😁 They seemed like decent enough people, though you find hillbillies in every corner of the country, including places like that. Still, the turnout of women was impressive, and I'm still thinking about how great they looked 😁
