wearybear18 said:Thanks for the support! Honestly, I’m checking in as the proud owner of a brand new, beautiful, feminine nose... 😁😁 😁 Seriously, if I had known what kind of transformation this was—the change I've wanted for ages—I wouldn't have waited this long. Yeah, my nose is a little swollen right now, but that’ll settle down. The bump is gone, it looks smaller, and I am beyond thrilled. If it's true that everything really settles into place after a few months, I can't even imagine how light and perfect it'll feel. I'm already loving it... 😁 As for staying overnight, I didn't actually need to stay at the clinic; they sent me home in the afternoon. Why do you think I would have needed to stick around?

I don't want to be a burden at home or have anyone looking at me while I'm dealing with all those cotton swabs... 😁 They've been hovering since the surgery, and I don't want to put them in a spot where they feel guilty if something goes sideways during those first three days. I don't know why people get like that, but hey, parents will be parents. 😁 🙂 Any chance you could share some before and after photos? I’d really appreciate it! 🙂

Regarding that thickened skin on the nose... when I emailed Tony Bennett about it, he basically told me that surgery can't fix thickened skin, though maybe I just totally misunderstood him. 😢 😕
wearybear18 said:Rachel Martinez94, thanks for having my back. I actually had my surgery this past Monday, and they finally pulled the nasal packing out yesterday... man, what a relief! A nurse handled the packing removal, and then Tony Bennett popped in just to check if everything was looking okay. It was super quick, and I was out of there in no time. I’m still stuck wearing this nose cast, though, and I am counting down the minutes until it comes off on Monday. Honestly, I feel like a total freak walking around with this thing on my face, but hey, if the docs say it’s necessary, I guess I'll suck it up! I'm not in any pain—not even a little bit. I know that sounds wild, but my rhinoplasty wasn't painful at all. I've been laying low until yesterday, using gel packs to keep the swelling down... I'm getting pretty tired of being stuck in bed, and let's be real, I'm definitely not hitting the club with this cast on. Getting the packing out was fine, and now I'm just dying to see the final result on Monday. I know it's going to be swollen—everyone tells me that and keeps saying it online—but I already know it's going to look smaller and that the bump will be gone!!! 😁 😁

So glad to hear the surgery went smoothly. Wishing you a super fast recovery and hoping you love the results once that cast is off! 🙂

Quick question: does anyone know if it's doable to hop on a bus (about a 2-hour ride) right after the procedure? I don't live in the city where the clinic is, so I'm wondering what the cost is to stay overnight near Tony Bennett's office. I think I saw someone mention on here that staying near Glumicic costs around $80.
Ashley Gomez nice nose, honestly, even from the profile view 😍
congrats 🙂

It's been three months since my surgery. The tip is still pretty swollen, so I'm really hoping that "ball" look at the end goes down soon. As for the profile—from the mold removal to now—I think it looks solid. At least, that's how it looks to me...

Me too! 🙂
wearybear18 said:I just saw Dr. Toncic for my consultation, and honestly, I've already said it—I don't have the time or energy to go on a massive pilgrimage visiting every single doctor out there. I finally settled on Dr. Toncic, so here we are! I was seen by Dr. Dinko, and I actually walked away feeling pretty good about it. It feels like everything we talked about is on the table and my expectations are totally realistic, at least according to him. Since this is an aesthetic procedure, the price is $3333, but I already knew that. I’m heading in for the surgery this Monday!!! Yeah, just one more weekend stands between me and the big day! 😁 😁

Good luck!! 🙂 🙂 Let us know how it goes. 😉
Honestly, I'll be happy if I can just get a simple referral for blood work from my primary care doctor. They are being such a total Scrooge when it comes to handing out referrals 🤣

Hey, is there any way I can figure out if I actually have a deviated septum and if I need a functional repair? I’m really just looking for the aesthetic fix, but what if the doctor tells me I need the functional part too...

Hmm, I'm not entirely sure. But honestly, if you aren't having trouble breathing, it's probably not a major deviation issue.

"A deviated septum blocks the airways on one or both sides of the nose. It can also stop sinus drainage, leading to constant sinus infections, and might even mess with your hearing by affecting how the eustachian tube works."
urbanowl13 said:So, is the cap at Dr. Toncic really $10,000? Like, both the functional and aesthetic parts together hit $10,000?

"The price for an aesthetic rhinoplasty is $3667 when paying by card (Maestro, Mastercard, Visa, Diners Club, or American Express), which you can split into monthly installments (between 2 and 12 months) or through consumer loans ranging from 2 to 60 installments, depending on your specific card. If you're paying cash, the total comes to $3333, since we offer a pretty significant discount for cash payments. If you decide to combine the aesthetic work with a functional procedure—specifically a septoplasty—the total price would be $4400 for card payments, or $4000 if you pay cash."
Toncic 10 $0.00; Glumicic 14 $0.00 - data pulled from the forum

My little potato... 🙂

I actually had some work done by Dr. Toncic, so I trust him, but let’s be real—a nose is still a pretty huge deal (in every sense of the word 🤣) 😂

Look, this other user here has an absolutely gorgeous nose 🙂
Sophia Brown34 said:I just saw Dr. Bastaic. Seriously, huge props to the doctor and the whole staff... I'm honestly a bit in shock, though. I thought the surgery itself and those first few days would be the hardest part... but this is actually worse. I expected that once they took the cast off, it would just be over... but man, it takes more time than you think.☕

My top pick is Dr. Toncic. I was leaning toward Dr. Glumicic at first because I really want a smaller nose and was worried Toncic wouldn't shrink it enough🤷 😱 😵 ,but after reading everything on here, I decided to go with Toncic instead. Fingers crossed I made the right call. Since I'm not planning the surgery until June, I still have some time to make the final move. The thing is, my nose looks relatively straight from the side—even if it is big—but from the front, it looks like a potato.🙂

I'm sure everything will turn out fine and you'll end up loving the results. I'm rooting for you!🙂 🙂
Sophia Brown34 said:So, after thinking about it forever, lurking on forums, researching doctors, and all that, I finally decided to get my nose fixed. And I did it. Two weeks ago. Honestly, the surgery itself didn't hurt at all—not during, not when they pulled out the packing, nothing. Absolutely zero pain. The bruising under my eyes cleared up after ten days, though I could mask it with a little concealer by day five. I was so stoked with how smoothly everything was going. When the cast came off, I was on cloud nine. But today is day 14, and I’m definitely not feeling that vibe anymore... I actually ended up complaining to the doctor today that my nose looks like it's growing lol, I felt so ridiculous saying that... The tip, which was what I was most worried about, is sticking out too much. Okay, look, I get it—the bridge has thinned out, the swelling is down, but the tip hasn't caught up yet. I understand the logic, but I'm still spiraling. Another thing: I can't laugh the way I used to, and I miss that so much! WHEN WILL I BE ABLE TO LAUGH AGAIN? HOW LONG DOES THIS LAST?! And worst of all, I just don't feel like myself... it's like my whole facial structure has shifted. My eyes—the best feature on my face—just don't look the same anymore. I look in the mirror and see someone else. I thought I was just being paranoid, but even my hairstylist mentioned it the second she saw me... I am totally losing it over this. The nose itself is fine, the tip is just a bit prominent right now, but I guess it'll settle once the healing is done... but MY EYES, will they ever go back to looking normal?????!!!!! Please tell me, has anyone else dealt with this... maybe once everything settles, things will return to normal... I feel so weird because even though the nose looks good, I'm just not happy!!!

Which surgeon did you go with? 🙂
