No, I don't think it's just one day when you're talking about a cosmetic procedure, though I guess I really have no clue how things work when it comes to a septoplasty. 😁

I don't think you're really looking at this clearly—I mean, your whole style is built around your own face, which is unique to you, and that same kind of singular architecture is baked right into everything you do below. I guess when people start trying to just copy and paste someone else's vibe, it usually ends up heading down a pretty bad path.

I threw some fun little emoticons into this post... if they aren't showing up for some reason, maybe try heading over to:

It’s been two weeks since my surgery, and I've even managed to head back to work already, but I still have this purple discoloration sitting right under my eye, and I guess I'm starting to worry that it might just be stuck there for good.😢

Well, I'm Khally from Dr. Ostojić's office, and I had my procedure just yesterday; the bruising showed up immediately, but honestly, it seems to be shrinking already today, so maybe don't worry too much... I should mention again how impressed I am with all those side effects the doctor lists as downsides—you know, the blood draining down the throat, nausea, dizziness, pain... I haven't really felt any of that, or maybe my body is just handling it better than most. As for my nose, we'll see; I didn't specifically ask for a profile change like you did, I just wanted that little bump gone, though looking at everything now, the shape does seem a bit off, ugh... I suppose it probably just takes some time to settle.😁
So, I finally went through with it. Yesterday morning at 9:00 AM, I was already in surgery for my nose job with Dr. Ostojić... and honestly, I’m pretty thrilled with how everything has turned out so far. He’s just such a kind, warm guy with his patients, and the nurses were incredibly sweet, basically pampering me constantly after the procedure. Most importantly, though, I’m not in any pain at all; I actually managed to get those nasal tampons out today—and it wasn't nearly as painful as some people made it sound in their posts. After the surgery, I didn't deal with any dizziness or nausea either; I just spent the time napping at the clinic until about 4:00 PM, then headed home. He just prescribed some Ketorol if I needed it, but I haven't really needed it. The only annoying part was that first 24 hours with the tampons stuffed in my nose, because I kept having these little moments where I felt like I couldn't catch my breath. I have no idea what my nose actually looks like under all this gear right now, since I've mostly just been smoothing out tiny bumps. Anyway... if any of this helps you decide on your own surgery, I'd say just give Dr. Ostojić a call and book an appointment today 😍☕😂
silverscout32 said:Hey everyone, I’m looking for some surgeon recommendations. It’s for a second nose surgery—both for aesthetics and function.
It seems like there are so many people here who know what they're talking about, but even after scrolling through everything at the end of the day, I still can't seem to settle on someone who could actually nail this the second time around and give me some peace of mind for a revision. Last time, I clearly got screwed over.
Basically, I had surgery at Rebro three years ago, and it was pretty much a disaster...
The looks were one thing, which is the usual "side effect" of these procedures, but my breathing is ten times worse than it was before! Right now, being able to breathe is my top priority, though fixing the aesthetic damage wouldn't hurt either, so I really need a true expert who can handle both. It's that classic dilemma—private clinics tend to focus on the looks, while the specialists who actually care about function (with rare exceptions) 🙂, but I think I need a miracle worker! Help me out... thanks in advance!!!

Hey, honestly, your best bet is probably just to visit all the surgeons' websites, read through their info, reach out, and book a few consultations. If you try to read every single opinion here, you'll probably lose your mind because everyone has different stories—some good, some bad—with every doctor. I usually just go with my gut, and that's what I'd suggest doing too. And obviously, make sure they're an ENT if you aren't just looking for cosmetic changes... I'd recommend Dr. Ostojić. Good luck.😍🙄😛
Taylor Miller10 said:Okay... I am officially spiraling into a total panic because my surgery is tomorrow.
It’s a septoplasty combined with some rhinoplasty work.
The thing that’s actually driving me crazy is how confused I got during the consultation; I told the doctor I wanted him to narrow my nostrils and make my nose look prettier, but I totally forgot to mention that I want the tip fixed too since it's kind of fleshy.
Damn, I really hope he just realizes what needs to be done? I'm freaking out thinking I might end up looking ridiculous with thin nostrils and a bulbous nose. Otherwise, it isn't even particularly long or huge, it's just kind of chunky.
And I can't find a single thing on any forum about Dr. Maksimilian, who's performing my surgery!!!

HELP, HELP, because I feel like I'm going to lose my mind!!!!!!!

Oh man, I guess I'm the one worrying about how I'll look with a narrower nose, since I'm just having a bump removed... I don't hate my profile, and from the front it seems fine... but the doctor said he has to shorten it a bit after taking off the bump, which means lifting it too... but I'll keep my fingers crossed for you... I suppose they know what they're doing... let us know how it goes, GOOD LUCK.🙂 🙂
brightsurfer67 said:So, I finally went through with my septoplasty—skipped the cosmetic stuff because, honestly, I kind of dig the look😁 and figured I’d share how it actually went, since I spent forever scrolling through forums just trying to find someone who had actually done it before me.
(...)
I won't sugarcoat it; the whole experience was pretty uncomfortable, I guess, but it was worth it because I can finally breathe properly, and I’d probably do the whole thing all over again if I had to.
It seems like most people on here are terrified of the surgery, and I definitely was too, but trust me, it’s such a routine procedure that it's almost trivial; the doctor I saw at the clinic handles about six of these a day, easy.
So, if you’re actually struggling to breathe, maybe just man up and get this nonsense over with.😍 And if you have any questions, feel free to ask.

Man, the blood, the pain... I’ll probably be a complete nervous wreck tomorrow morning right before they take me in.🙂
I’m honestly just counting down the days until I can finally get this over with, and I’m really hoping for a good outcome... though I guess I’m caught in this weird loop where I’m panicking one minute and then feeling pretty eager to just move on the next, haha.
Heh, I’m probably going to give him a hard time about it too, mostly because I’m pretty certain a nose like that just wouldn't suit me... anyway, how did your own nose turn out after seeing Dr. Miller? Are you actually happy with the results??🙂😁
So, I’m scheduled for my appointment on February 1st with Dr. Ostojić, and honestly, after scrolling through all the comments online, I’ve started feeling a little hesitant... though I’m not backing out just yet. I heard he tends to go a bit overboard with the nasal shapes, but I made sure to tell him during our consultation that I am definitely not looking for that kind of result. He even showed me a photo of how he envisions my new nose looking, but I think I already forgot what it actually looked like... at this point, I really just want my septum piercing removed and a slight refinement. I’m trying not to dwell on everyone else's bad experiences, even though so many people complain that while their profiles look better, they end up looking a bit off from the front—that’s my biggest worry, really. I'm just scared the new nose won't actually fit my other facial features, but I guess it'll probably turn out fine.😲If anyone here has actually been to see him, could you please share some photos? thanks!
