I appreciate the thought, but naturally, that was the very first thing I checked.
I’ve been trying to get my Logitech wireless Optical Slimline Deskset DS-3200 running on Windows 7, and for the most part, everything seems to be working fine. There is just one glaring issue: the mouse pointer refuses to move vertically. It won't respond to any up or down movement at all. I should mention that this gear has been sitting idle for quite a while—probably upwards of two years—so I can't help but wonder if some kind of mechanical failure developed during that downtime. I have already exhausted every possible software fix and driver update, but if anyone here has encountered a similar glitch or has a shred of useful advice, I am all ears. Otherwise, I am looking at throwing 99% functional hardware straight into the trash, which feels like a waste.
If this turns out to be a lost cause, I am planning to pick up a wireless keyboard with a built-in touchpad instead, and I would be interested to hear if anyone has thoughts on those.
Thanks in advance!
