Does anyone know if Ellis is suited up tonight? I don't see him listed on the DraftKings board. If he stays out, I'm taking the over on Curry at 18.5.
I’m also eyeing the overs for Jennings, Granger, and Westbrook tonight... though I’m second-guessing myself since the lines are so low. I might even look at the under on total points for Boston-Charlotte—maybe under 177.5, or even Charlotte under 81.5.
Today, I actually find myself liking a whole stack of picks, which is a rare occurrence for me.
Orlando Magic - LA Clippers - 2 ...Even though they’ve won their last three, I wouldn't trust them as far as I can throw them (I’m barely counting the wins against Cleveland and Washington; only the Indiana win actually counts). On the other hand, the Clippers look like a much more cohesive unit in great form. That loss to the Denver Nuggets came right after a grueling win against the Utah Jazz, and Denver's pace simply overwhelmed them.
DeMar DeRozan (15.5) - Over ...He put on a hell of a performance last night, and he should be able to replicate that tonight against a weak Washington Wizards squad.
John Wall (15.5) - Over ...Playing at home against two sub-par teams, scoring 4 buckets per quarter shouldn't be an issue.
Andre Iguodala (13.5) - Over ...I’m always waiting for this guy to finally explode and significantly bump up his averages. It’s a heavy matchup against the Los Angeles Lakers today, meaning it could go either way, which usually translates to high minutes. Even though they've caught me off guard before by absolutely demolishing opponents—they have the largest point differential in the league—if they want this win, I think they'll need him to step up. 4-5 field goals and 4-5 free throws, and he hits it.
Luigi Gallinari (16.5) - Over ...Last game, when I took him, he fell just short of the margin. Not a bad showing, as he can always chip in, but for me, Gallinari is a lock for the over whenever they face teams like the Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Phoenix Suns, or Golden State Warriors. He's a safe bet in my book, and today is no different. In a high-scoring game, I expect an easy over.
Kevin Martin (21.5) - Over ...After two unders in a row, I'm expecting another explosion from Martin, especially tonight with the fast transition play and plenty of shot attempts. I just hope nobody gets blown out too badly and he doesn't spend too much time riding the pine. It seems to be becoming a trend where he disappears toward the end of the first or start of the second half, only to reappear late in the game.
Mo Williams (21.5) - Over ...They're missing half their roster, so if they want to avoid a total disaster, they're going to need a real performance from Williams. Honestly, because of how bad things could go, I'm even hesitant to touch Derrick Rose. That's my riskiest play.
Brooklyn Nets (+8.5) - Chicago Bulls - 2 ...Everything has been said. The Nets playing with a second-string lineup offers very little hope.
There we have it. Now I just have to decide which three plays to actually pull the trigger on.
Man, I had both Gay and Pierce down, but they both went down right after the 21st basket. I played a duel on Gay. Does this mean my parlay gets wiped out now, or is it just sitting there at 1.0 odds?
Does anyone have a link for a stream for the Boston-Memphis game?? Thanks in advance

That was the first thing that caught my eye when I checked the odds. Sure, the last game was high-scoring, but looking at the stretch before that, things were much tighter. It looks promising to me...
I haven't had any faith in Philly since the start of the season, yet they just keep knocking teams down left and right.
Scott Jackson said:What’s the play today for Durant and Westbrook? Think Westbrook stays under? He’s playing out of his mind lately, but the Bucks always give him a hard time...
I’m taking the under on Durant today. I have a rule: I never bet the over on shooters or small forwards when they're facing Memphis. I'm siding with Allen on this one. Plus, Battier is still in the rotation...
Yesterday was a harsh reality check. It turns out I don't care if the odds are 1.2 or 1.85; the result is just as disappointing when you make the amateur mistake of putting a heavy favorite in a parlay against a scrappy underdog like the Pacers.
Today, I'm throwing three picks into the ring. Let's see how they land.
Igoudal (13.5) - Over ...I'm looking for a repeat of last time when he cashed my ticket at 14. He’s been playing with plenty of grit in these East Coast matchups lately. Chicago isn't going to hand him anything on a silver platter, and in a high-stakes game that stays tight until the final buzzer, I expect him to find his rhythm and sink those 4 or 5 shots and free throws.
Love (23.5) - Over ...The intensity of this matchup should force him to step up if they want to take down Indiana. Having Hibbert, West, and Hansbrough patrolling the paint helps, but if he can just knock down a couple of threes, he hits the mark. That said, out of these three, he's the one I trust the least.
Granger (18.5) - Over ...Same game, similar logic. He's in good form, and I refuse to fall for the trap of thinking he's "due" for a bad night.
I’m just looking for one quick bit of info... do we think Deng is starting against Philly tonight, and is Jefferson going up against the Clippers?
After a winning streak, I’m looking to keep the momentum rolling... here is my slate for
granger(18,5) - over ...I just hope he doesn't get blown out early and spend half the game riding the pine. Otherwise, Granger can hit this number all by himself.
stoudemire(21,5) - over ...Anthony isn't quite at 100% yet, but it looks like Amar'e is finally finding his rhythm. They absolutely need this win against a limited Detroit squad, plain and simple.
curry(18,5) - over ...The kid has had nothing but bad luck with injuries, but he's back to his old self. I expect a high-scoring affair against Sacramento—well over 200 total points—and Curry clearing this line easily.
galinari(18,5) - under ...This is my riskiest play. They're facing Memphis, and I suspect Allen and Gay will do a solid job of shutting him down. The total is set above 200, but I'm anticipating a much grindier game, regardless of how much Denver likes to score.

rose-wade 1 ...Rose is definitely going to be fired up after those free throws at the end yesterday, and Wade isn't quite back to 100% yet. That's my read.
james-durant 2 ...New Orleans is a joke right now. I'm expecting Miami to run them ragged, which might mean less minutes for LeBron... meanwhile, Durant faces a brutal matchup against the Clippers where he'll have to carry the load again.
love(23,5) - over ...Aside from the Clippers and Oklahoma City games, this is the one I'm watching. I expect a shootout on both sides, so Love should clear the line. Three or four triples, 6-7 free throws, and a couple of easy buckets in the paint, and he's there.
iguodala(12,5) - over ...To be honest, I'm only taking this because the line is high enough, even if his season has been mediocre. It's about time he turned it around. I suspect this will be a defensive grind under 185 total points, but if he can't hit at least 13, he might as well head straight to the local brewery.
It’s a nice feeling waking up and seeing that it's all over... 😁
After two rough nights, maybe it's finally time to get back in the green...
rose-wade 1 ...Derrick Rose will definitely be fired up after those free throws at the buzzer last night, whereas Dwyane Wade isn't quite fully fit yet. That’s my take.
james-durant 2 ...New Orleans is a mess; I’m expecting Miami to run them ragged, which might mean less minutes for LeBron James... meanwhile, Kevin Durant faces a brutal matchup against the LA Clippers where he'll have to carry the load again...
love(23,5) - over ...this game between the Clippers and Oklahoma City is easily the most interesting one on the board... I’m expecting a high-scoring affair on both sides, so Love should clear this. A few threes, some trips to the line, a couple of buckets in the paint, and he's there.
iguodala(12,5) - over ...honestly, I'm only taking this because the line is high enough to be tempting. He’s been struggling all season, but it’s about time he bounced back. I suspect this might be a low-scoring grind with tight defense, but if he can't even hit 13 points, he might as well just head straight to a local brewery.
Gerald Lopez3 said:Even though Martin is a risky bet, I took him anyway.
Martin (22.5) - over
Gallinari (16.5) - over
Granger (17.5) - over
Anthony (24.5) - under
The win is there. Honestly, it might have been better if Anthony and Martin hadn't even played given the injury situation...
Here’s what I’m looking at today:
Charlotte - Washington (185.5) - under ...just like the other day. Charlotte’s offense is a disaster, but they hold their own defensively, so I'm expecting another under.
Kobe Bryant (30.5) - under ...I'm taking advantage of this high line while it lasts, right after that stretch of 40+ point performances.
Gay vs. Amar'e Stoudemire (duel) - 1 ...Memphis is playing in Phoenix, where the tempo should be fast and suit Gay perfectly. I'm not sure if they'll sit Anthony tonight, but even without him, Stoudemire is struggling. I'm hoping Gay has a much better night. My only concern is that they're facing Houston, which could turn this into a shootout.
Even though Martin is a bit of a gamble, I decided to take him anyway.
Martin (22.5) - over
Gallinari (16.5) - over
Granger (17.5) - over
Anthony (24.5) - under

Andres Nocioni (17.5) over — Denver is playing in Sacramento, which usually means a high-scoring affair filled with transition buckets and plenty of shots. Given that Nocioni is in solid form, I think he’ll easily clear that line.
Washington (192.5) vs Charlotte under — Charlotte's offense has been an absolute disaster lately. Washington can consistently put up over a hundred, but looking at the last ten meetings between these two, they've only cleared the total twice. My gut tells me this game stays about 15 points under the projected total.
Both hit without any trouble... though the Washington-Charlotte game went even further under than I expected.
David Fisher25, you're very welcome. 🙂
Nobody seems to be talking about this, but I actually think this is one of the better matchups on the board.
Andres Nocioni (17.5) over—Denver is playing in Sacramento, which usually means a high-scoring affair with plenty of transition play and perimeter shots. I think Nocioni, who’s been hitting his stride lately, is going to clear that line.
Washington vs Charlotte (192.5)—under—Charlotte's offense is an absolute disaster right now. Washington can easily crack the hundred mark, but looking at the last ten meetings between these two, they've only cleared the total twice.
