I’m pulling for the Americans, and I honestly hope the crowd at the Arena doesn't turn on them, though I won't hold my breath. It feels like the media has played a huge part in creating this culture where we just love to hate each other, even when we aren't playing against one another. It's that classic "I hope my neighbor's house burns down" mentality. I really don't get the urge to boo a national anthem, whether it's happening now or back in 2009 when you guys booed ours.
