I might as well share my own experience; I had surgery on February 28th at Rijeka Hospital, performed by Dr. Komljenovic.
The goal was to correct a deviated septum and straighten my nose, since it’s always been crooked.
The procedure itself went fine, but the anesthesia absolutely wrecked me—I was vomiting all day (something looking like black coffee), and it didn't stop until around 1 AM.
When they removed the packing after four days, there was some bleeding, and breathing through my nose felt incredibly difficult right after. Things are slowly improving now, thanks to saline rinses and Gelositin.
I went in for a checkup today to have the cast removed. While the nose is straight now, it looks weirdly elongated and just... off (I suppose that will settle eventually). For the most part, my nose feels numb, and it’s particularly uncomfortable whenever I yawn.😁
