I'm hoping it's just from sitting too much and having dry skin, since I spend most of my day in a chair anyway.
Hopefully, it isn't some actual skin condition.🙄😢
Hmm, I doubt it. I think if it were anything serious, it would be itchy or painful. Plus, it doesn't show up all the time. We'll see how things look once winter passes, but until then, we're basically going to look like we just survived a war zone.😁

For me, it shows up right where my leg meets my butt.🤣
I try using Nivea or some baby powder, but even if it clears up, it just keeps coming back after a while.🤷
Mine is in that same spot too, right on the cheeks. 😁 I was actually doing a little digging online earlier, and apparently, skin can crack from being super dry, which leads to these blotches. It makes me feel a bit better thinking it might just be my dry skin rather than something serious. Does yours look like a bruise? I also read that sitting for long periods can cause this, and since I've been hunkered down studying for exams for several hours a day over the last two weeks... yeah, that might be it.
So, I know the title of this thread sounds a bit silly, but I honestly wasn't sure how else to frame the issue I've been dealing with over the last few weeks. Lately, I’ve noticed some patches appearing on my backside (or my 😁 area) that look somewhat like bruises—though they aren't that deep purple color, just a lighter shade. The skin also feels noticeably rougher whenever I run my hand over them. On top of that, the skin in those spots seems to be peeling quite easily. They aren't huge areas, and they don't actually hurt or itch, but it's definitely strange how suddenly they showed up. Has anyone else here dealt with something similar? Any idea what might be causing this? Could it just be the winter weather making my skin extra dry? My skin tends to get pretty dry in general, so I was wondering if that could be the culprit, though it feels a little odd that it would cause this specific reaction. 😢 Thanks in advance!
