I believe most private clinics offer installment plans ranging from 12 months up to 24, or even longer if you need it. A close friend of mine actually opted for a payment plan where she was paying roughly $67 per month, though I'm not entirely sure what the total duration of her agreement was.
It has been exactly three weeks since my surgery, and I honestly couldn't be happier with how everything turned out. My nose has settled into its new shape so beautifully; I know they say the swelling continues to subside for up to two months, but at this point, it feels pretty much stabilized to me. Even better, there’s no more tenderness or pain when I touch it. For anyone out there who is still feeling hesitant or nervous about making the leap, please don't let fear hold you back. There is truly nothing quite like that wonderful feeling of waking up in the morning, looking in the mirror, and finally seeing the reflection you've always dreamed of having. 😍 👍

I just got my appointment paperwork today, and it specifies the procedure as sub-mucosal nasal septum reconstruction. In plain English, what exactly does that entail?
And how long does the recovery take? Since my surgery falls right in the middle of my college semester, I need to plan my schedule carefully. Will there be any discomfort, or will I need to deal with nasal packing or anything like that?
My brother actually had his surgery with him. He had dealt with a broken nose and chronic sinus issues before, and on top of the breathing problems, he wanted to fix the aesthetic side—you know, the bump and the crookedness. While his breathing is totally fine now, he isn't exactly thrilled with how it looks. His nose still tilts a bit to one side, and the tip feels way too pinched, almost like someone left a clothespin on it during healing. :/

I don't think it's too bad, but I'm starting to see signs of a hump again and one side looks swollen. I really hope it's just inflammation because nothing actually hurts—I'm not blue... how does that swelling feel? Is it soft or firm?
The doctor told me I need to be patient for at least two months since things will change day by day, but I have to admit, I'm feeling pretty impatient and a little worried. I'd love to hear about your experiences if you don't mind.
Also, I know I mentioned I’d post some photos, but my excitement over the new nose has dampened a bit, and honestly, this current view isn't the most realistic representation anyway, so the pictures will have to wait a little longer....
:Oh, I am so sorry to hear that. For me, right after the cast was removed, everything felt different too—it looked lifted, then settled down after a few days, but it didn't really look distorted. I still have some swelling right at the tip, almost towards the center, and on the left side, there's that little arch toward my eyebrow, while the right side feels quite flat and firm. You can't see it with the naked eye, but you can definitely feel it if you touch it. Since my nose is narrower now, it's a bit tender on the sides when touched, and it feels slightly swollen to me, though just a tiny bit. People who don't know I had surgery can't even tell; even my mom tells me every day how much more refined and slim it looks. Anyway, what do you mean by "distorted"? Try not to panic; give it at least another week or so before you worry too much..

Oh man, I am so looking forward to seeing a successful outcome and, of course, some photos! 🙂))
The longer I spend on this forum, the more my opinions seem to shift—which probably isn't the best thing 😁, honestly. Right now, I'm actually torn between Dr. Glumicic and Dr. Toncic, so I am incredibly curious to hear from anyone who has had surgery with either of them. Please, if you have, do share your experiences with us! 😍
It’s been 12 days since my surgery today. The bruising has cleared up, and the swelling is minimal—though my nose is still a little tender to the touch right near the tear duct area. Overall, I couldn't be happier with the results!

I couldn't agree more! Honestly, I know way more people who have walked out of a public hospital feeling completely dissatisfied than those who’ve had bad experiences at private clinics. 😉
Olivia Gonzalez17 said:Thanks, and I’m really hoping for the best too... Mary covered everything perfectly, and my experience with Dr. Toncic was exactly the same as what she described. Now, I just hope the final result is as satisfying as the process! I’m taking the mold off tomorrow... wish me luck 🙂))
Good luck! I have absolutely no doubts about the results 🙂!
I thought I’d share my own experience for anyone else who might still be on the fence about this. For the longest time, I struggled with my nose—there was this bump that always bothered me, and from the front, it felt a bit too wide. After months of overthinking, scouring forums, and chatting with people who had already gone through it, I finally decided to go with Dr. Toncic Clinic, and honestly, I couldn't have made a better choice. After my initial consultation, Dr. Dinko and I settled on February 12th for the procedure. On the morning of the surgery, I’ll admit I was a little nervous, especially hearing stories about local anesthesia being uncomfortable—but looking back, those fears were totally unjustified. Once I had my final chat with the doctor, I headed toward the OR. The nurses there were so lovely and efficient; they create such a warm atmosphere that you find yourself relaxing before you even realize it. They gave me something in my IV to help me chill out, and then applied the local anesthetic in my nose. It stung for just a few seconds, then everything went numb, and that was it. The actual surgery is mostly a blur of semi-consciousness for me. When it was all finished, a nurse kindly took me by the arm and escorted me to my room, where I drifted off for about three hours with cold compresses over my eyes. By 2:00 PM, I was ready to head home. I was scheduled to come back in three days to have the packing removed. As soon as I got home, I propped my bed up at an angle. To my surprise, I didn't experience any pain at all—not in my head or my nose. The only "weird" part was eating for those first three days; since you can't smell or taste anything, meals are a bit strange, but that passes quickly. They provided me with a sheet of emergency contact numbers and two pain pills, though I ended up not needing them at all. On the second day, Vesna called me just to check in and see how my first night went, which was such a thoughtful touch. I wasn't bruised, though I did have some slight discoloration near the corner of my right eye on the fourth day, but by day six, it had almost completely cleared up. Today is day seven, and I just went in to have the molds removed. The surgery was done using a closed technique, so the stitches are internal and just eventually dissolve on their own. I honestly couldn't wait to get to a mirror and see the results. And oh my goodness... it is a beautiful, perfectly proportioned little nose! My first reaction was pure shock, but obviously, it's incredibly positive. The profile is straight with a slightly lifted tip, and from the front, it looks slim and elegant. It has really softened my whole face. I have a follow-up in two months, and while there is still a tiny bit of swelling, it’s very minimal. If someone had told me that the whole process would be this smooth and painless, I would have done it years ago! Huge thanks to the wonderful nursing staff and, of course, to Dr. Dinko. He truly listened to what I wanted and crafted a nose that is nothing short of perfect. I highly recommend them to anyone who is feeling hesitant. 🙂
