Evanescence just doesn't hit the same without her, though I suppose I can't say I didn't give them a fair shot. Their last album was a total disaster, and while Anette Olzon has a decent enough voice, she just doesn't seem to fit their vibe.

it's true, Evanescence has changed completely, but I guess I actually don't mind this direction... with this latest album, I've really grown to like Anette... haha, I suppose tastes differ... at the end of the day, the main thing is that Tarja is doing well and writing new music, and maybe one day she'll come back to visit us again 🙂)

The intro was just legendary, she really is the queen of the stage, she just commands the whole room, she's such a powerful woman, and I guess all I can say is that my love for her has only grown after seeing her perform in person 😁 😍

I didn't get the chance to grab her hand for a quick hello 🤣 but I did pick up a shirt with the curtain design on it, so at least I have a nice memory to hold onto 🙂

I didn't end up buying a shirt because, well, I wasn't really feeling the designs 😛
My vision for a Tarja shirt would probably be a bit more understated and simple
I guess my only regret is that I didn't wait around for an autograph, but I had a big midterm exam the next day and hadn't even touched my textbook yet 😂

And I'm thinking Nightwish might swing by in 2013 if they don't show up in 2012... though, if I had to guess, 2013 feels more likely 😍

😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 It was honestly just beautiful... kind of like that last time we were out in Washington, D.C.... She actually caught me off guard by playing one specific song since I don't usually listen to it much, but that curtain and her mask 😁 were pretty much perfect for setting the mood...
I mean, if you didn't make it out to this one, you really missed out... though I suppose she’ll probably tour again eventually... If I had to nitpick, I guess maybe the show felt a little shorter than the previous one, but even so, getting to see her live again is more than enough for me 😁DD
And, I guess I should brag a little, but she actually grabbed my hand, gave me a setlist, and even handed me a drumstick... seriously... and normally, I never get anything at all 😍

I guess they're from the upcoming album... though I suppose we don't really know when that's coming out yet, right? :O
