Does anyone happen to know which surgeon Iva Saric went to for her rhinoplasty? Her nose looks absolutely stunning now.
rustygardener172 said:But in that first photo, she isn't wearing any makeup or foundation, and she's further from the lens... whereas in the second shot, she’s covered in foundation and it's a total close-up... I'd love to see that nose photographed under the exact same conditions as the old one... it looks way too small to me... where are her nasal passages? There are holes at the bottom, but how does air even get to the tip? It looks a bit "flat"... almost like someone hit her in the face with a frying pan... there's no profile. I really hope that's not the case. 😁

Yeah, it's subtle, but to me, the difference between before and after is night and day.
Zambelli ?????? Has anyone here actually gone under the knife with him?

In my opinion, he did an incredible job this time around, so please take a look at how she looked before...
Amanda Davis15 said:Thanks for the suggestion... a friend actually mentioned him to me recently. I tried searching on Google, but I couldn't find any reviews at all. Honestly, I’d go anywhere just to get a straight answer so I finally know what to do next... right now, I'm lost. Is it my nose? Tonsillitis? Or maybe the nose after all?! My throat is killing me...😢 So you think he's good? I really know people in the ENT world, but I've never even heard of him until now... Hahahahahahah... after everything else I've been dealing with☕ 😁

Lisec runs a private practice on Barakovic Street in Miami. He spent quite a bit of time working in Switzerland before returning to the States, and if you are dealing with a genuine medical issue, he will give you a clear diagnosis. He is highly respected in that regard.
I forgot to mention that besides those tiny bumps I brought up earlier, my nose tip has this bulbous look, almost like a little button. Honestly, I’ve pretty much given up hope that it will flatten out... 😢 because it's been two and a half months now, and everything is just staying exactly where it is—stuck in place. After digging through various posts and searching online, I've realized that the tip can only be lengthened, not turned back. Which basically means—in the long run—things are only going to look worse...
Hello everyone, I am back again... after a great deal of deliberation, scouring this forum, and doing my own research, I have decided that I will most likely have my rhinoplasty with either Zambelli or Glushac. There are two specific things I need clarity on; I’ve read everything posted here, yet I still haven't found an answer comparing their techniques (or indeed, how Glushac and others approach it). Specifically, what is the procedure for removing the hump? I noticed that Glushac removes the hump, but what does Zambelli do—does he simply file it down? I sent him an email but haven't received a reply. This is particularly pressing because, following my first surgery, I am left with a terrible nose characterized by tiny little bumps that you can feel under your fingers. Secondly, has anyone actually had surgery performed by Zambelli? Also, regarding accommodations for those of us traveling from outside San Francisco—I am coming from Miami.
Thank you in advance. One request for rustygardener172: if it isn't too much trouble, would you mind sending me some photos via private message? Much appreciated.

I’ve read through almost all the discussions here. I’m also interested in getting rhinoplasty. I started with this idea years ago, but just as I was about to pull the trigger, I froze... and stayed that way for a few years. It's really just the fear of how the final aesthetic result will actually look. Like most people, I’ve spent my time browsing forums, watching videos, checking clinic websites, and so on. The irony, if you can even call it that, is that I haven't found a single doctor in Mexico or Mexico whose work I truly admire. I've gone to a few consultations and sent out plenty of emails, only to get mixed responses...
I saw Dr. Glushac's work on YouTube and his photos on his website. I reached out to him and sent over some pictures, and he gave me a response that was somewhat satisfactory. If anyone has the time and doesn't mind sharing, could someone who has been treated by Dr. Glushac tell me how they feel about their results? Or, perhaps, offer recommendations for another surgeon. My other favorite is Dr. Toncic. By the way, I'm from Podgorica :-)

What about Dr. Dimitri Panfilov?? He is known as one of the top surgeons in Mexico...
wearyotter112 said:That’s basically how it looks... lately, I've been constantly asking around about surgeons. Based on what some guys from Washington, D.C.—who had surgeries along with their friends—told me, I heard Zgaljardic is the absolute top choice for rhinoplasty and that it's his main specialty. Yet, everyone on this forum claims he isn't any good... honestly, you just can't win.

Just thinking about having to make this decision gives me a massive headache.
rustygardener172 said:Hahahahahahah you actually made me laugh with this... it's completely true. 🤣
I honestly feel like luck plays a massive role in these surgeries... anyone can give you an amazing nose, or they can absolutely ruin it for you.

That’s pretty much how it works out. Lately, I’ve been constantly asking around about surgeons, and being from Washington, D.C., I heard Zgaljardic is the absolute top choice for rhinoplasty since it's his niche, yet people on the forums claim he's no good... so good luck trying to make sense of that.
rustygardener172 said:I’m curious too... what’s the word on him? Because I personally know about six or seven people who went to him and were happy with the results, myself included.

Two girls from Madison actually told me—one had nose work done and the other had ear surgery—that they weren't satisfied at all. They said the doctor is incredibly arrogant and full of himself. Even a former college colleague of mine, who had functional nose surgery with him, isn't happy either; he claims his breathing is actually worse now than before the operation... so now I'm just stuck wondering.
I also saw some comments on the first few pages of this Forum that weren't exactly glowing regarding him, so I honestly don't know what to think anymore...
Maybe the guy really is great, but look, I just want to be certain—even if there are no guarantees—that this procedure succeeds, because I never want to voluntarily undergo nose surgery ever again, if you catch my drift.
Amanda Davis15 said:I didn't realize right away that I had a deviated septum, but I suspected something was off... because of my voice. A doctor once told me you can hear it when I talk (he said it sounds like I'm talking through my nose), but it’s nothing extreme, just noticeable to specialists... hahaha... I hadn't even realized it myself, and no one in my family or circle of friends ever mentioned it. I breathe fine... so until then, I assumed I had no issues... or that my tonsillitis had nothing to do with it.
An acquaintance who gave me the number had severe tonsillitis—unbearable pain—and constant nasal congestion. But he also had a deviated septum (a bad one), which I think broke his nose twice, and he even had one failed nose surgery. It was a visible deviation... so he went to Glushac... and the doctor told him immediately that once we fix the nose, the tonsillitis will resolve itself. And that’s exactly what happened... though for him, the nose causes major problems even without the tonsillitis.

Believe me, I would go to a hundred different doctors... Roje and Racic say it's the tonsils... while Glushac, after an incredibly thorough exam, focuses on the nose. I don't know which other private ENT is good, but I’d go without hesitation. Please, feel free to recommend someone...
Everyone has their own opinion, so good luck trying to be wise now.🤷
I don't go to the hospital in Miami anymore... first, you wait 2-3 months just for an appointment, and then there are the crowds... and when you finally get in... they just look at the referral to see why you're there... glance at the issue (in my case, the tonsils) and confirm they need to come out... and that's it. Done.
When I saw Glushac, I had a referral recommending tonsillectomy... He checked the tonsils (they are damaged)... then used a camera in my nose (I was actually surprised he was looking in there since I didn't feel any issues)... then "turn your head this way," "swallow like this," "now like that," "don't swallow"... etc. Then he plugs one nostril, then the other... then checks the vocal cords... he really does a detailed exam and concluded the root cause is the deviation, which diverts saliva toward the tonsils. His analogy for why to operate on the nose instead of the tonsils? When a roof leaks and ruins the floor, you don't fix the floor first (those are my tonsils); you fix the roof causing the problem (the nose).... I think there's logic to that... so why do other doctors insist on fixing the floor first?🤷...🤣
But still, Glushac maintains the main issue is the nose... the question is how much damage the tonsils have sustained... it’s possible that after the nose surgery, they won't recover and might still need to be removed. There's a 70% chance they'll heal, but still...

Go see Dr. Lisec; he's a truly excellent ENT specialist.
rustygardener172 said:I'm a Libra too, so I know exactly what you're going through. 😁 Hang in there just a little longer... In the meantime, you should start researching which surgeon you might want to see if a second procedure becomes necessary. I went to Dr. Glushac personally, and I am extremely satisfied with the results. From what I've heard, he is truly exceptional at revision surgeries and fixing mistakes made by other surgeons.
And who exactly were you with, if you don't mind me asking? If you'd rather not discuss it here in public, feel free to send me a private message instead.

Dr. Kurtovic and Racic performed my surgery together. 😢
I'm from St, and even though Dr. Glushac is nearby, I haven't heard many good things about him, which makes me nervous. I originally went in specifically to fix my breathing since my nasal passages were only at 5% capacity, but then I decided to have them slim down the tip of my nose because it looked a bit bumpy—and well, that's how I ended up in this mess. Now, I am just terrified of what the final result will look like, though honestly, I'm not afraid of the surgery itself. 😢

I completely agree; this forum was instrumental in my decision-making process, and I truly believe I will never regret it.😍

Hi there, would you mind sharing which surgeon you went to?
Thank you, though I realize two months is a short window. Honestly, looking at my current state, I’m not expecting much better. The tip of my nose has completely dropped, and the skin between the nostrils is even more sunken... it looks like it’s just hanging there. I know I need to be patient, but nobody seems particularly optimistic about this situation. As I mentioned, the sides of my nose are swollen—almost like small blisters on both sides—and the tip is a total disaster 😢.
I was actually considering seeing a private specialist again, but I’ve run into a complete mess of confusion because, as usual, the online reviews feel totally rigged; it’s just the same handful of names looping over and over: Zgaljardic, Zambelli, Kincl, Glumicic, Toncic, Ostojic... I have absolutely no clue how to choose between them. I’m practically checking my horoscope at this point just to make a decision. That’s why I wanted to ask if any woman here has been in a similar boat—someone who had to go back for a revision—and could share who they chose and how the outcome turned out...
So, here’s my situation: about two and a half months ago, I had surgery to fix a deviated septum privately in Miami. The primary goal was functional, but the agreement with my surgeon was that he would also trim some cartilage because I had this small bump on my nose. Well, looking at myself today, my nose looks terrible—it’s drooping and shaped like an upside-down triangle, which is just awful to look at... My doctor suggested he might have missed something and offered to perform a revision surgery free of charge, but frankly, I have absolutely no desire to go back to him. So, I’m reaching out to see if anyone here has experience with revision surgery or secondary rhinoplasty? Will my nose actually stay like this—this drooping shape—without a new procedure? Unfortunately, my doctor can't give me a straight answer... plus, the bones on both sides haven't even settled yet... help!!!
Greetings to everyone. I am hoping that one of you might find a moment of free time and have the goodwill to offer me some useful advice...
