How do I get in shape? in Health ·
Look, you're basically just a kid right now...

It’s really not the time to be stressing over six-pack abs—though if you’re truly dead set on it, just get out there and run consistently, plain and simple... Don't even bother messing with supplements; puberty will sort out your physique on its own. As for gynecomastia, honestly, there isn't much you can do about that besides surgery...
If you DON'T quit smoking, you aren't going to have the lung capacity to actually run—so it’s pretty much this: either commit to a healthy lifestyle and get those abs, or keep the gut and end up dropping dead by 40... 😁

Good luck
George Sullivan31 said:My buddy's condition has taken a really bad turn. They're currently draining fluid from his lungs, and he’s just become so incredibly weak. I honestly can't believe how much weight he's lost—the man has just withered away in a single month. At this point, there's absolutely no talk of starting chemo...

Regarding my friend—may he rest in peace now—his father went through something very similar. He was in such a fragile state that they wouldn't even dare give him an IV because they were afraid the fluid would just flood his lungs, and it would have been instant death (at least, that's how I understood it at the time). He also dropped from about 180 pounds down to 95 pounds, and during those last ten days... right when I thought he couldn't possibly get any thinner, he lost another 22 pounds... 😢

Thanks, Lisa White54
thanks everyone...
My patient passed away today... 😢
Wishing you all the very best, everyone...
What can I do to make things easier for my elderly parent? It’s lung cancer—they're immobile now, but thankfully haven't had any pain for the last 10 days. This morning, though, they woke up barely able to speak—now they can't at all. The left side (arm and leg) has turned blue and feels cold to the touch. It’s almost like they’re in some kind of coma. I have no idea where the cancer has metastasized, but it’s just so strange how everything shifted in the span of five hours. Doctors came by for a home visit and checked their blood pressure... it was down to 80/40. Honestly, I don't even know if I need help right now, but it just feels better to tell someone 😢
His hand is looking a little flushed, just a tiny bit... I took him to see the doctor today for his third round of chemo, and he showed her the arm, but she still can't say anything for certain quite yet.
She mentioned there's a chance the cancer might be pressing against a blood vessel or maybe some lymph nodes or something like that... Anyway, he's at the hospital now so they can run some tests and look into it properly—thanks so much for the support, Angela Wright 👍
Hey everyone, I could really use some insight, an answer, or just some help here...

My dad has been fighting lung cancer for about seven months now—they actually decided against surgery because they felt it wouldn't make a difference in his outcome. He’s handling the illness pretty well, all things considered; he’s on pain medication, and while he’s moving a bit slower than usual, he’s still up and walking around, which he has been for the last three months. He’s finished two rounds of chemo and is heading in for the third one tomorrow. Tonight, though, his pain spiked a bit, and I noticed his right arm is significantly swollen... he's usually quite thin, which is common for patients dealing with this kind of thing. Does anyone know what might be causing that swelling?

p.s. My heart goes out to all of us navigating similar situations, especially our loved ones who are fighting these battles...
