Got a quick question—my GPU just kicked the bucket... so now I'm looking at picking up a new one. What's the verdict on the GTX 260??
How am I supposed to know if my GPU is actually fried or if I'm just losing my mind? 😢(The monitor just cut out on me, and then when I tried messing with the color settings, the screen turned into a mess of lines—you can barely see anything, it's totally trashed. Does this mean the card is officially dead, or what??🙂
I’m just wondering—is there actually any real difference between PNY, XFX, or ASUS when it comes to the Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX, or am I just chasing ghosts here? What’s the actual deal with them?
I need a quick answer on something here... 😁 is an ATI Radeon HD 4730 actually any good compared to an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX ???
So, what’s the verdict on this http://www.google.com/imgres?hl=bs&c...w=1024&bih=624 thing? One branch is sitting at 12V 14A and the other one is 12V 15A—thoughts?
Some guy tells me this one's enough to handle the card... I don't know, man. He's swearing up and down that this is the way to go, says it's solid. 🙂
So I finally pulled the trigger on a new power supply... http://www.techzonics.com/purepower-...uter-ps-bb.jpg Is this actually going to cut it for my Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX 768?
I need some help, and I need it fast... I'm running a GIGAtech 450 w 24 power supply right now, and I’m wondering if that thing is just gonna choke trying to handle an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX 768 mb. Everything else is just an i3 paired with 4 GB of G.Skill RAM
So, I'm looking at this setup—an Intel Core i3 550 clocked at 3.20 GHz, paired with 4GB of G.Skill RAM and an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX 768 mb graphics card... and honestly? It’s a bit of a relic, isn't it? Whether it's "good" really depends on what kind of trouble you're trying to get into. If you're just trying to browse the web or handle some basic office stuff without the whole system choking, it'll get the job done. But let's be real—it's definitely not cutting it for anything modern. You're basically running on fumes if you're hoping to play anything released in the last decade. It's fine for light tasks, I guess, but don't go expecting miracles. 🙂
THANKS A TON FOR THE REPLY 🙂
So, I’ve got a quick question for you guys—I just pulled the trigger on an Nvidia Geforce 8800 GTX 768 mb, and now I'm sitting here wondering if I actually made a smart move or just wasted my cash. How does this thing actually hold up? Specifically, I'm curious if it can actually handle Battlefield 3 ?? without totally choking.
