Post-op recovery: Vein surgery questions/advice

Last Friday, I underwent vein surgery at a local clinic under the care of Dr. Lovričević.
Every day feels worse; my foot is completely numb, and the incision sites actually hurt more now than they did immediately following the procedure...
I have an appointment this Friday to get the stitches removed. Until then, I’ve mostly been keeping my leg elevated, though I do walk around my apartment occasionally.
Will I be allowed to walk more after Friday?
Wearing compression stockings isn't an issue for me, as I already wore them every single day before the surgery...
I've been searching online, but is there really no one out there with actual experience from vein surgery?
