Sophia Gonzalez10 said:Detoxes are total nonsense—I actually convinced myself of that after watching this documentary where they split women into two groups. Basically, the first group ate "normally" (fats, sweets, you name it), while the second group just drank blended veggie juices. 🤣 After a few weeks (which were mostly filled with bickering and jealousy within the plant-based group), they retested both groups (kidneys, liver, stuff like that, I forget the specifics) and concluded the results were identical. The vegans saw zero improvement. I’d suggest just eating sensibly (if only I could stick to that myself 🤣), keeping things varied—meat, veggies, fruit, tea. And that rash of yours? It might just be an allergic reaction.

Look, I don't know what you watched, but I definitely noticed a difference.
My face cleared up completely and is now smooth as a baby's bottom.
The issue is that my skin on my chest broke out in an allergic rash and a bunch of pimples.

So, there clearly *is* a difference. When I was eating sweets, snacks, and all that crap, my face was a disaster. I can't tell you exactly which "junk" foods were causing it now, but I can absolutely see the difference between how I looked before and how I look now.

@ruggedscout91/">@@ruggedscout91,
it wasn't a "Coca-Cola overdose," and honestly, I don't think any of my posts have given anyone reason to make that kind of assumption.
I believe overdoing anything has negative side effects. Whether you're snacking on chocolate every hour or swallowing spoonfuls of undiluted Coca-Cola.

I don't know Nancy Grant77, you've probably been eating light for ages, but as someone who lives for meat and dairy, switching to this suddenly has me feeling absolutely terrible. I'm constantly nauseous, I've lost weight, and I can barely even keep water down. I think I went too hard, too fast, but honestly, for the sake of my health, I’m going to have to cut back on the meat and dairy and move toward a lighter, Mediterranean-style diet. I love all kinds of fish, seafood, and salads, so that shouldn't be an issue, but this whole "detox" thing hasn't done me any favors aside from making my skin incredibly clear—it looks as smooth as a baby's bottom now. I've never had skin like this before.

As for those comments about Coca-Cola, all I'll say is I'm not a huge fan and I definitely wasn't drinking it every day. I'd just have some here and there if I felt like it. Most of the time, I was sticking to tropical fruit teas, green tea, chamomile, stuff like that.

Thanks to everyone else for the advice.🙂

Hey everyone!

Two weeks ago, I started a detox to flush out all the toxins and junk food I’ve been eating for months. Since I’ve been dealing with some hormonal issues, I figured changing my diet and doing a total system cleanse was the best way to start.

I’ve been on a super strict diet for days now. It’s mostly just various soups and staying hydrated with water, Coca-Cola, or different kinds of tea—especially green tea.
But two days ago, my skin just went crazy. I broke out in these red, patchy pimples that almost seem to burst on their own, and I've developed this awful rash between my breasts that won't go away, even after using Benadryl. On top of that, my skin has felt incredibly dry and thin for months, which is weird because I've always had pretty oily skin. I tried looking for answers online, but there's hardly any info about these kinds of side effects from detoxing. So, I’m looking for some advice before I head to the doctor—what do you guys think?

Thanks in advance
