It definitely feels like the whole mod team and the admins are all tight, but who knows? Maybe it just looks that way because they’re all stuck doing the exact same job.

The title says it all. I wasn't quite sure which sub to drop this in. I’m just curious about the process here—who actually decides who becomes an admin, a moderator, or whatever other roles exist on this forum?
