I want to give a massive shout-out to the doctors and nurses in the Plastic Surgery and Hand Surgery department at Mount Sinai🙂 for such a quick, efficient tendon sheath reconstruction and for being incredibly kind and attentive during the procedure
and all my follow-up visits. I can’t recommend them enough—especially Dr. Stanec and Dr. Rudman. It was a huge relief after months of grueling therapy and bouncing between different hospitals where I was told by a doctor at
the trauma center that a ruptured tendon was "just a cosmetic issue" and that I should just keep exercising (!!!). That was coming from someone who didn't realize I couldn't even use my right index finger!
