They really ought to list the total weight here—charger included. We're looking at 4.2 lbs. The laptop itself is only about 3.3 lbs.

A solid 550W unit is plenty of headroom for even the most power-hungry CPU paired with a high-end single GPU, plus a few case fans and some drives, no sweat.

The issue here is the CPU. It’s struggling to keep up, which means you aren't even scratching the surface of what that GPU can actually do. That 560ti is basically hitting its ceiling; you really need to swap in a more modern processor to let the whole system breathe. Generally speaking, in this performance bracket, you should look at an older 560ti, a 6950, or maybe a newer 7850.

And hey, look into those installment plan options so you don't have to trek all the way up north. Honestly, I don't even know them off the top of my head myself. 🙂

All these AOC, LG, and Dell XPS 13 23" models are using the exact same panel, so you’re looking at identical image quality across the board. Everything else is just preference—whether you need an adjustable stand, pivot functionality, HDMI, DisplayPort, USB, or whatever else. Personally, though, I’d probably go with $33 Patrick Chase4 and grab the Dell.

You didn't mention your CPU, but honestly, a 6850 would probably do the trick—they’re sitting right around $150 if you look hard enough.🙂

For $667, you can even snag a 6950 or a GTX 560 Ti on eBay, which are significantly better cards than this ☕

It’s a solid choice, but those are US prices. Once it hits our local market, expect a massive markup.

If he’s just looking to overclock, an XFX 450w unit will cut it.

That's basically a 560 without the 😁 and puts it right in the same ballpark as a 6870.

We just need to sit tight until Nvidia drops their new cards... once they do, we’ll see a massive price war across both sides of the market.

If you're already going to go all out on such an extravagance, my take is that you're much better off grabbing the pricier model—the one with a graphics card that’s more than twice as powerful and a significantly better monitor.
