They stopped manufacturing it, and it hasn't been in pharmacies for quite a while now. It might not have been officially recalled, but if I remember correctly, it’s been off the shelves for about a year. I assumed it was either discontinued or they just cleared out all the stock at once. Honestly, I suspect it's more of an economic decision than a health concern.🙂

I think Octenysept (also a spray) is the best deal price-wise; hospitals here usually use it instead of Bivacin.

Bivacin has been pulled from the shelves. It looks like they were just clearing out some old stock, so instead of Bivacin, you'll find Tyrosur powder and spray available now. It serves the exact same purpose, though it does come with a higher price tag.😁
