Has anyone happened to catch them live at Coachella or maybe somewhere else?

This jersey pattern is clearly a massive hit; even though it isn't Nike, it looks incredibly sharp.

It seems to be tied to that whole electro and nu-rave scene—both the performers and the crowd. Beyond just the music, that vibe is a huge reason why I’ve never been a fan of that entire subculture...

Just random thoughts,

By the way, I just realized she's actually a kid...

Good grief—and people claim rockers are the degenerate ones ☕. I just read that she ran away from home at 14 to live with addicts and the homeless 🤦—man, teenagers today
. If you look at almost any major pop icon—Britney, Lindsay Lohan, Amy Winehouse, Lady Gaga—they've all struggled heavily with substance abuse

Personally, I find their long, ambient tracks much more compelling than those short, bombastic ones.

Look, I wasn't trying to challenge their right to use the checkers—we didn't invent them. It’s just that I happened to spot an identical jersey during a EuroLeague game the other day. As for the checkerboard pattern, plenty of fans with red and white colors play around with checkers on their hats and flags anyway.

I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet, but you really need to watch out for how PSV plays on the road:

It’s straightforward, without all those tacky mesh textures and extra nonsense. My only real gripe is that gold "square" they put the number inside. Personally, I’d just slap the number directly onto the jersey, both front and back... you know, instead of that little dot, we'd have the USSF logo, and then obviously the inevitable Nike swoosh on the right side.
If we went that route, though, the borders lose their purpose—specifically the color scheme. I honestly can't tell how a number in that specific shade would even look against a solid red background.
Maybe a navy number? Or keep the borders... I haven't a clue.

edit: Just got a better look at the third kit, and honestly, it's fine. It's the away kit that's absolute garbage.

Our first jersey always featured those tacky number designs and awkward font styles on the back. Just look at today’s kit—why on earth are we using blue numbers against a red background? It’s a visual nightmare that’s incredibly hard on the eyes. If the base color has to be red, white numbers would look much more natural. It feels like we have this obsession with cramming every single color from the flag onto one shirt, yet no other national team does that. Some teams don't even use their flag colors at all! At this rate, we might as well just slap some goats and three lions from a crest on there too. And don't even get me started on the names—they're practically invisible.
There’s already plenty of blue on the away kit. 🤷

Here’s the vision: the primary kit should feature those classic red and white checkers. For the back, let's go with a solid red base featuring white names and numbers—or potentially a white back with blue lettering. Either way, we definitely need white socks. Whatever we do, let's avoid putting names directly over the checkered pattern; it would look cluttered and messy. 😲

The away kit has always been a solid choice, though if I'm being honest, I preferred last year's look over what they're sporting now.

This is purely experimental and honestly, it’s never going to actually happen, 🤣
Wait, what?
Most influential rock bands of all time? in Music ·

That's the truth, even in the rock scene.

The impact of Krautrock bands like Can and Faust was massive—honestly, they likely had a deeper influence than most British or American groups from the 60s and 70s.

Just take a look at the influences on Can here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Can_(band)#Influence

It’s tough for me to pick just a few favorites because the whole album is such a solid, consistent experience. But if I were forced to choose, dancing in the moonlight has definitely been my go-to lately. It has that heavy, sprawling classic rock vibe to it.

That’s just how it works with music this layered. You never quite get the full picture after just a few spins, unlike the immediate impact of the era of Songs for the Deaf.

It’s not impossible. Though, if you ask me, our major festivals would much rather book some cheap indie nonsense over actual legends.

nimbleheron3 said:Hopla, that’s a pretty heavy accusation. To be honest, those early live clips on YouTube really gave off a certain garage rock vibe, but luckily, it turns out there wasn't much substance to it. I wouldn't call myself an expert—or even a huge fan—of Jack White, but I've listened to enough of his stuff to know that I just can't see eye to eye with you on this one.👎

I couldn't agree more. When I first heard those initial recordings, I noticed they were leaning quite heavily into that White Stripes vibe. It’s common knowledge that Josh has immense respect for Jack White, but they don't exactly sound like a carbon copy. While there are definitely certain sonic similarities, Josh has ultimately pulled his style closer to the TCV sound. Besides, let's be honest—the Stripes have always been heavily influenced by Led Zeppelin anyway; they're essentially a modern take on that classic formula.

Brandon Brown45 said:I honestly figured this album would be total garbage the second I heard Dave Grohl was involved. It’s clear that Man and Sir John Paul Jones made sure that slippery guy stayed in the background.

Oh, please. As long as Dave Grohl is behind the kit, you're golden. Speaking as a drummer—everything I've heard from him, from Nirvana to Songs for the Deaf, plus those guest spots with NIN and Prodigy—is top-tier. But put him on guitar with the Foo Fighters? Terrible. They are massively overrated; just a mediocre band at best.

I’ve given this a couple of spins now. I was expecting something completely off-the-wall with sudden shifts and layered textures (which is definitely a plus), and while it sounds solid, I think I need a bit more time before it really clicks for me.

I honestly thought that album had already been released.
Out of those three clips, the Scumbag blues Elephants Nobody Loves me and Neither do i what to think one is definitely my favorite. The live recordings I've been hunting for are pretty low quality so far.
