Looking for a specialist...

Hey everyone,
I just wanted to kick this thread off for anyone hunting for a decent dentist in Indianapolis. I'm 43, and honestly, I've been through the wringer with plenty of different offices over the years.
Zubarija: I’ve seen most of them, and my best experience by far was with Prpić Josip. He’s a younger guy and incredibly meticulous. He did a bridge for me and pulled three teeth, and I didn't feel a single bit of pain once. He even sent me to a surgeon for some stitching after the extractions to make sure there wasn't a crater left behind—which, frankly, is more care than most places bother with. That kind of $50stitching
makes a huge difference. The extraction ($33)
The bridge was $333 priced per tooth, which is actually only $67 a little more expensive than those basic clinics you find tucked behind a grocery store. His office has a waiting room with a TV, and they actually run on schedule; I never had to sit around waiting. Plus, they don't charge you until you're actually happy with the work. He's super conscientious and easy to negotiate everything with. The only real downside? He doesn't have an X-ray machine on-site, so if you need imaging, you'll have to swing by the local community clinic first.
I'm giving him a solid 5 out of 5 stars 👍
Dr. Polak over on European Avenue—also a younger guy, but I really wasn't a fan. I went in just to get one filling replaced, and without even asking me, he went ahead and gave me three injections, swapped out three fillings, and then slapped me with the bill for all of it. Total money-grabber who clearly doesn't care about patient comfort or what you actually came in for. I wouldn't set foot in there again.👎
Dr. Filipović—located right behind the supermarket—is your standard doctor who takes Medicare. She’s hit or miss; sometimes she's in a great mood, sometimes she isn't. If you're looking for someone covered by Medicare, she's probably your best bet.👍
Dr. Haring Vladimir and his wife—I've visited both of them, and while their office is really nice, I wasn't impressed. They churn through patients like they're on an assembly line, and it feels like they aren't truly invested in doing the job right. He’s slightly better than her, at least when it comes to actual skill.
By the way, Haring's wife is Dr. Polak's sister.👎
Siber—way too expensive. The wife is alright, but the old man isn't practicing anymore. I saw him once, and the guy loves to grind down your teeth without even offering an injection. To top it off, he and his wife will talk about you right in front of you like you aren't even in the room. The guy is a total moron. His son runs things now, but I haven't been in to see him yet.👎
Anyway, those are just my two cents. I know people are going to disagree, which is exactly why I'm starting this thread—so everyone can share their own stories and draw their own conclusions.
Mod edit:
Moving this thread to its proper home in the "Looking for a Doctor..." sticky. We shouldn't be opening individual threads like this because they quickly turn into either massive ad campaigns or venting sessions that stretch on for dozens of pages.
