I totally blanked on mentioning the thyroid biopsy results: they found some mature colloid, superficial squamous cells, and a few thyrocytes. Basically, the takeaway is I need to stay under close watch because my anti-peroxidase antibody titers are running high. For now, I'm alternating my Euthyrox dose—one day it's 50mcg, the next day it's 75mcg daily.
I need some insight here! Bloodwork and biochemistry results:🙂cholesterol 6.48 H; HDL cholesterol 1.56; Triglycerides 2.27 H; LDL 3.89 H; Blood glucose 6.30; TIBC 44.19 L; Immunoglobulin E 203 H.
Hormones: TSH: 6.01; fT4: 15.2; fT3: 6.62.
Results from the thyroid department in Osijek: combined hyperlipidemia and suspected immunothyroiditis.
Can anyone break this down for me?
Mixed hyperlipidemia? in Health ·
fadedmarlin402 said:That readout isn't great news. Mixed hyperlipidemia basically means you're dealing with high cholesterol and high triglycerides at the same time. It’s usually baked into your DNA—just how you're wired. You're going to have to tighten up the diet significantly (think less greasy stuff; fats should probably stay under 30% of your total daily calories). Depending on how bad it is, a doctor might put you on meds. Bottom line: go talk to your physician...

Is there any actual link between hyperlipidemia and thyroid issues? Also, can stress trigger this kind of thing—or maybe even long-term use of psychiatric medications?
