It isn't a solid mass; it feels more like a slippery vein that moves around when touched, and from what I understand, a cancer is usually a hard, fixed lump... I was just checking here to see if anyone had experienced something similar or could explain it to me...

I am looking for someone to provide a serious explanation regarding my situation; please spare me the jokes and nonsense, as I am here seeking actual insight from this group.

About four months ago, I noticed what felt like a long, cord-like structure just above my right nipple—it seems to shift slightly under my finger when I press down, yet if I run my finger along its length, the sensation isn't there...
I have discovered a similar, albeit smaller, ridge directly above that spot, so I would appreciate it if someone could clarify whether this points toward a carcinoma or if it is nothing to worry about.
