This feels like a pretty decent upgrade to me. You’re getting a better processor, a newer motherboard, an extra 2GB of RAM (4GB should be just fine), and a significantly better graphics card. Plus, you get an aftermarket cooler, which might let you try some light overclocking. Everything is readily available and comes with a 1-3 year warranty... I’m guessing you’re running at a lower monitor resolution, which will work great with this GPU, and if you haven't already, maybe stick with Windows 7 32-bit...
He picked a board with only two RAM slots when he’s already using both, so he won't really have much room to overclock there.

Personally, I'd just swap in the 760K for $5.00 more🙂
What does a "beast" of a graphics card actually mean to you? 😛 Because to us, that means an NVIDIA GTX 970 that costs $767, which is basically your entire PC build 😬

The Titan is really built for professional workflows rather than pure gaming. I guess you'd actually get better performance out of a GTX 780 Ti when playing games, even if it's a bit slower at other tasks. It seems like Nvidia expects professionals to be willing to pay that premium over the GTX 780 Ti, which is probably why it holds its value so well.
The HD 7990 is the top dog among dual-GPU cards, though I guess the GTX 780 Ti takes the crown for the strongest single-GPU option. For sheer value, though? Maybe the Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X. Sapphire R9 290 Tri-X.
If you’re on Full HD or using a dual-monitor setup, you might want to grab the 2GB version instead. $20 It's probably worth the extra money, maybe around $950...
I think it’s right on the edge 😬... the most demanding titles seem to peak around 4.5GB to 5GB. Using 4GB might cause a slight bottleneck (though probably not in 99% of games), while 8GB feels like total overkill. Personally, I’ve never really liked the 6GB middle ground 🤣
I'll probably just grab another 4GB stick once my next paycheck hits 🙂
