I need some advice on which PSU to grab for either a GTX 260 or an HD 5670. I was looking at this Thermaltake 420W. Is that actually any good??? My current setup is running 2GB of DDR2 RAM, an AMD Athlon 5200 x2, and an 8600GT.
It’s not even about which power supply is superior, it's just about the money. I'll probably just grab a 600W unit from an LC POWER ATX 2... THANKS🙂
Will this thing actually put out enough juice for an HD 5770? My CPU is an AMD Athlon 64 X2 running at 2.13GHz... wonder if that'll be enough to keep up with the HD 5770...
Is that 420W ATX2 unit actually any better than the Codegen 400W one?
It’s about three years old. I’m out in Chicago, so I usually just grab my gear from Micro Center or Best Buy.
So, what kind of PSU should I actually grab for an HD 5770? Not sure if a 400W Codegen is even gonna pull enough juice to keep it running...
I'm torn on whether I should go with AMD or Nvidia, I currently have $250 ??
I’d sell her for $83 if that’s even an option?🙂
What kind of cash can I pull for this thing?
Got an old 8600GT sitting here... should I just sell it or what?
Will this GPU actually hold up? Like, am I gonna be able to run any new games on a 19-inch 1440x900 monitor or is it gonna be a struggle...🙂
I've got this crappy little 400W power supply from Codegen. Honestly, I have no clue if that's even going to cut it... I'm running 2 gigs of DDR2 RAM.🙂
Intel Core 2 Duo 2.13" monitor 19 inch, thinking about dropping up to $233, maybe at Links or Houghton Mifflin Harcourt to find something decent for gaming!!!
Specs: Intel Core 2 Duo @ 2.13GHz, 2GB DDR2 RAM, 400W Codegen PSU, GeForce 8600GT.
