I was watching some old highlights last night and it got me thinking about how much we tolerate in this league. It feels like every time a team hits a massive slump, the front office just shrugs and says, "Give it another year to see if the chemistry clicks." We’ve all seen it happen—teams spend millions on talent only to watch the season go down the drain because the leadership just isn't there.
Personally, I’m getting a bit tired of the "process" excuse. There's a fine line between being patient with a rebuild and just being paralyzed by indecision. When you see a roster that clearly has the pieces to compete, but they're consistently underperforming, it feels like a slap in the face to the fans who show up every Sunday. At what point does "giving them time" just become an excuse for poor management?
Do you think we've become too soft on coaches, or is a little bit of stability actually necessary to build something lasting?
