Honestly, I suppose it doesn't even matter what I end up doing with my old power supply; I might just toss it in a river somewhere and call it a day 😁. But more importantly, I wanted to circle back to my original question regarding what would be best for a CrossFire setup—specifically looking for two Vapor-X NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 cards, provided the total stays under $200... My current rig is running an Intel Core i5-650 on a P55 motherboard, paired with 4 GB of XMS3 RAM, two 500 GB Seagate Barracuda hard drives, and those two Vapor-X NVIDIA GeForce GT 730 units

I actually have this power supply on hand right now. To be honest, when I was building my rig about two or three years ago, I was trying to be a bit more budget-conscious with my parts, so I ended up picking out what was essentially an entry-level unit. But, I have to say, I haven’t run into a single issue with it so far. That being said, I’ve reached the point where I really need to step up my graphics card, and since that means upgrading the PSU too—given that my current one just isn't high-quality enough for a heavy lift—that's why I was reaching out to you all for some advice... 😁
So, what should my final move be here? I suppose I could sell off both the GPU and the PSU, and once I get them replaced, I really don't want to spend less than $500 under any circumstances, though that feels like quite a stretch for me. My initial thought was maybe to grab an EVGA SuperNOVA for $50, and then pick up another Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X. I’m still genuinely happy with that card, honestly, because it still manages to run most modern games at about 80% settings on high, so if I pair it with a solid, reliable power supply, it might just work.

I was hoping to pick your brains regarding a power supply question, if you don't mind. Since I'm still pretty new here, please forgive me if this is something that's already been asked a dozen times before.
So, basically, I'm currently running an older, lower-tier 500W unit, and it seems to be holding up just fine powering my i5 processor, a 1TB drive, two hard drives, and my Radeon HD 5770 Vapor-X. However, I’m really considering picking up a second card of the exact same model to run them in CrossFire, mostly because modern games are getting so demanding and I think I could really use the extra muscle. My main concern is finding a power supply that won't totally crash under the load $200 and is actually reliable enough to handle the setup... 😁
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!!!!!!!!
