I really want to say thanks to everyone for all the helpful replies! So, here is the situation: I already have two cards hooked up to my current cable, which means I just need to connect one more card—and honestly, nothing else besides the GPU is pulling from this power supply. I'm working with three ASUS GTX 1070 units, and since their maximum draw is about 150 W, I figured that with an 80% efficiency rating, this power supply should technically be plenty strong enough. Unfortunately, my old unit finally gave up the ghost, and I guess I made a pretty silly mistake when I was buying the new one by not checking exactly how many cables come in the box. I feel like I’ve practically scouted out every single Best Buy and Micro Center in the metro area, but I haven't been able to track down an original EVGA SuperNOVA cable anywhere. Does anyone happen to have a recommendation on where I might be able to pick up a PCIe cable specifically for this model? I wouldn't even mind something used, as long as it's the right fit.
P.S. I'm a little confused as to why the power supply features three separate slots for CPU/PCIe connectors if they only include one cable for each.

Hi everyone, I was hoping I might be able to get a little bit of guidance regarding my power supply setup.
So, I recently picked up a new modular EVGA SuperNOVA unit, but it seems like the packaging only included a single PCIe cable for the GPU. I’m actually trying to hook up a second graphics card—an ASUS GTX 1070, specifically—but I realized I'm just one cable short to get everything powered up properly.
My big question is, I guess, would it be safe if I tried using a cable from a different manufacturer (I believe it's an XFX one) to bridge the connection between the PSU and the GPU?
