Let's talk about prog Metal, not just regular rock! At least, that's my take on it. 🙂
I mean, Pink Floyd is an absolute classic—you can't say a damn thing against them! 🙂
Someone brought up ISIS—now we’re talking! Seriously, you gotta check them out. Then you’ve got Opeth and Pain of Salvation, those absolute geniuses from Sweden, plus Porcupine Tree, and Tool (if you're into that gritty American prog vibe)
Dream Theater or Sigur Rós? Come on, guys, have some taste!! 🙂
As far as rock goes... A Perfect Circle, that prog/alt stuff... Aaaaah, my heart is finally at peace 🙂
Just give them a call and ask. They'll know more about this than anyone else.
Maybe we’re just looking at this from different angles. To me, a real test is anything you actually fight against. You want something, but life says "not today," and that's where the struggle happens. If you get everything you want on a silver platter, where's the challenge in that?
You haven't really lost anything if you never even stepped up to the plate...
Tell me about it... 🙂
Look, it wasn't some grand "experience." I just said I'd give it a shot, and I did. No coaxing or anything. 😁 Once was plenty. It’s not like I hated it per se, but the vibe afterward? Man... I don't even know how to put it. You just feel totally drained, unsatisfied, and you realize you just blew hard-earned cash on something completely mindless... You get what I'm saying?
1)Do you think drugs are a thing in your city?
Yeah.
2)Is it easy to get drugs these days?
Yep.
3)Has anyone ever offered you drugs? (Any kind, light or heavy)
Yeah.
4)Have you ever been in a situation where you were tempted to try something?
Nope.
5)Have you ever actually tried drugs?
Yeah.
6)Have any of your friends tried drugs?
Yeah.
7)Where is it easiest to find drugs?
a) At parties b) School, college, work
c) In your neighborhood d) Trips, traveling
Literally everywhere... You’ve got dealers hanging around parties, just like you see at school, in the neighborhood, even on trips. But if we're talking pure availability? Definitely at the parties.
8)Do you think legalizing soft drugs would stop kids from using them?
Yeah.
9)Why do young people start using drugs?
a) Boredom b) Wanting to prove themselves
c) Curiosity d) Having bad role models
e) Family or life problems
A little bit of everything, but mostly just trying to fit in with the crowd.
10)Are you well-informed about the side effects of drug use and specific types?
Yeah.
11)Do you think drug use is just another trend we imported from more "developed" parts of the world?
Nah.
12)What are the most effective ways to reduce drug use among youth?
c) Bringing lectures into schools to inform kids about the dangers
d) Giving kids more extracurricular options (sports, music, field trips)
13)Do you think drug use among youth will, in the next 10 years:
Increase
14)Do you think kids from wealthy families are more prone to drug use?
It's the same for everyone—rich kids and poor kids alike...
Just give them a call. If you’re in a rush, they can usually squeeze you in the same day... Price just depends on what kind of checkup or lab work you need...
Plus, you’ve got Sunce. I’ve been there enough times that I’m basically a regular at this point. 😁 Honestly, they’re total pros—zero complaints from my side on how they handle things. Can't speak for anyone else, but Sunce was the one everyone told me to go to...
