Kudos to you, bear—the way you politely asked the moderators for a second chance after a five-year hiatus was actually quite impressive. I've been dealing with painful periods since middle school—honestly, the first day is always a total disaster if I don't take something right away, since it takes about 20 minutes or so to actually kick in.
The only thing that really does it for me is Ketoral Forte; everything else is just... well, obviously too weak for my needs.

I completely agree. As soon as I heard Franz Ferdinand was playing, I went ahead and grabbed a ticket from $83. There are a few bands on the lineup I've never even heard of—but I guess I'll give them a listen, maybe I'll actually end up liking some of them!

Or maybe it’s just an average person overcomplicating things—mostly because they think it makes them look smarter. I mean, goodness, has anyone ever actually seen a philosopher express themselves simply? It seems there’s this assumption that the more convoluted your phrasing, the deeper your thoughts must be. Though, I suppose one could argue that certain profound ideas can't quite be captured in everyday slang. Higher language for higher thoughts, I guess. 😁
