I remember seeing a speech therapist back when I was a little kid. I dealt with that exact same struggle with the "s," "c," and "z" sounds—though for me, it was almost always the "s" that gave me trouble. My sessions involved this repetitive drill where I had to read words starting with or containing those specific sounds over and over again, until my pronunciation finally started sounding somewhat natural.
