If you’re working in 3D within AutoCAD 2007, just remember that you can use the Presspull command by hitting Ctrl+Alt—it’s a total lifesaver for quick modeling. As for when you're sticking to 2D, you'll find the Stretch command sitting right there under the Scale tool in the menu.
