I'm with you on that MLS isn't exactly a sellout crowd experience at the stadiums, but man, watching it from your couch? That's where it's at. (I mean, I wish it worked the other way around... but whatever)
It’s true that all the big commercial sports are bought up... at least for this season... but definitely not for the next one All they have left to do is snap up the MLS and the NBA... and honestly, it wouldn't hurt if they actually broadcasted some USL Championship games too
Yeah, that’s me, I was the one working on it. And honestly? Same old story—stuck with this white background again. Those little lines from Excel just vanish when I move them over to Word, even though the white background stays glued to them. Whatever, doesn't matter. I'll just find a different way to do it.
Nicholas King said:What happens if you use Paste Special -> Windows Metafile in Word? The background is supposed to be transparent, right? (Try putting an image behind the text to test it).
How does Photoshop handle it when you import (from the disk) a WMF-file? Does it come in with a transparent background?
I don't know why, but whenever I do a paste special as a picture (windows metafile) then hit ctrl+a, copy, and then ctrl+v into Photoshop, I'm stuck with this white background... regardless of whether the text was black or white... whatever, it doesn't matter... thanks for the help, but I'll figure it out somehow😉
Yeah, I’m telling you... I’m positive 😉 It keeps moving the background along with the text even when it's set to no fill or just a plain white background, and honestly, I have no clue why it's doing that :S The goal is to only move those faint lines when it's set to no fill, but if the background is white, obviously we just want that clean white look without all the extra lines
tried doing it exactly like that and I still get that annoying white background :SSS it's easy enough to just paste it in from Notepad, but then obviously everything loses its formatting and won't line up in columns like it's supposed to... and since there's a ton of text here, I don't have time to waste redoing all that work manually
So I gave this a shot And man, it just pulls the background boxes along with the letters. To deal with those white boxes in Photoshop, I try using the Darken mode on the Layers panel, but when the text is white, the letters just vanish right along with the boxes... whereas if I make the text black, the white boxes disappear perfectly while the text stays put But here’s what I actually care about... how do I import JUST the text into Photoshop so it lands perfectly aligned in columns? I'm tired of the formatting getting trashed during the copy-paste, forcing me to mess around with the spacebar just to get everything lined up again
And regarding what you said, ''if there are no borders around the cell in Excel, you should just transfer the letters.''' I don't get that at all... I type whatever I want into a cell, select it, paste it into Photoshop, and I end up with both the text AND the box
Not trying to start a whole new thread here, so I'll just drop my question right in this one.
How the hell do I copy text that's perfectly aligned in columns from Notepad (or Excel) and paste it into Photoshop onto an image without ruining the layout? I already know the workaround if the background is light and I need black text—just select everything in Excel, paste it into Photoshop, and hit "Darken" to strip out those annoying Excel gridlines and leave just the clean text. But if the background is dark and I need white text, I have to put a dark color behind the white letters in Excel first. The problem is once I move that over to Photoshop, the "Darken" trick fails miserably and just turns the entire damn photo black. Hopefully you guys get what I'm getting at. If anyone knows a better way, please help a brother out. There’s a massive amount of text organized in vertical columns, so there is absolutely no way I'm re-typing all of this manually in Photoshop.
I try to stay away from wireless gear as much as possible because I just can't shake the feeling about all those waves floating around... it always makes me feel a little uneasy being near it. So yeah, I'm trying to dodge it... especially cell phones and taking calls on them.
The Sound of Silence is the title of the new album Man, I've got a feeling this is gonna be some weak-ass garbage all over again... Ugh, god, take me back to when they were doing Bohemian Rhapsody, Master of Puppets, Discovery, and Enter Sandman😢 And honestly? This new guitar tuning is absolute trash compared to the old stuff
