Jenson Button over team radio: "Come on guys."

🤣
here comes the chemistry 🍿
Susan Alvarez94 said:Even a driver with his pedigree can't seem to make those Pirelli tires work for him.😁

Classic underdog behavior, haha 🤣🤣😁
Nica really won me over 😁

I’ve been keeping an eye on things—mostly just listening in the background during practice sessions—but I caught this flash of pure determination from him at one point
It honestly hit me pretty hard 😁

edit: Who knows? Maybe it turns out he’s actually everything that Vettel definitely isn't 😁😁😛
stormybadger8 said:I see you're new here. 🙂
I already told your buddies the same thing four years ago, so I guess I'll just say it again for you.🙂
Ferrari isn't going to touch Vettel this decade—and that means they aren't catching Red Bull as long as he's behind the wheel, either. Not even once.☕

The sooner you accept it, the easier it'll be.🙂

aaaaaaaaaaaaaaa, give me a break, you absolute moron🤣🤣
Listen, dear moderators, things might actually get a little easier for you now👍

You’ve basically just been hit by a massive wave of 👍

Stay legendary👍
Note to the admins:

Look, honestly—the mods aren't actually getting anywhere with this situation. They're just spinning their wheels and it's getting incredibly frustrating, so I figured... why not just throw this out there and see what happens? 🤷

Don't take it personally, okay? :trese dekoltejČiĆ:

😍

(Consider that my official directive for anyone actually sober left in this thread—if there are any of you left, obviously)

let's move it 🍿

I’m laying this out right here for you, dear mods, just in case you happen to miss it
when you inevitably get hit by a wave of jealousy or whatever else strikes you.
:lajk:

👍
It’s either the podium or bust—enough with the jokes.

:webber group:

🙂
Whoops, I know, I know—you’re probably going to say we both promised to drop this topic once and for all

🙂

PS: For any of you hardcore fans out there interested in getting a real sense of his character—specifically the weight behind his statements (or lack thereof) and his overall credibility—do yourself a favor and catch that introductory segment airing on the BBC this Sunday.

It's quite an eye-opener.
stormybadger8 said:He just can't catch a break... even when he takes a shot, he misses. 😬

Should probably take a page out of the Lotus drivers' book. 😁
When they take a shot, they actually hit a few people. Too bad Romain Grosjean hasn't been in top shape for ages. 😬🤣

By the way, did you know 21 is Mark Webber's unlucky number? 😬
GP China was held exactly 21 days after Malaysia.
In China, he got slapped with an official penalty "number 21."
And then Bahrain is driven like a total freak on the 21st...

That’s exactly why he should have just slammed him into the wall—even if it was just a little bit. Honestly, I think I hit the nail on the head there. 😬🤣
It’s over now—there just isn't any way to make this work anymore.
We really should have seized that window—that one specific moment where everything lined up—to finally put this whole mess to bed once and for all. 🙂

🤣
Ashley Ramirez4 said:It would’ve been wild if Sebastian Vettel had actually grabbed that wheel—or maybe if he’d just spun out trying to dodge it. It was basically one step away from Red Bull completely blowing their entire weekend, but instead, they just totally screwed Mark Webber

and btw, I don't think anyone's gonna bother playing tire games in Q3 anymore. It’s just not worth the risk. Strategy only works if you get lucky and don't end up stuck behind some guy in the Final or a Sauber—which is insanely hard to pass even in the DRS zone, just look at how Vettel and Felipe Massa got stuck during this race. Maybe McLaren will still try it, but probably only on tracks where they can pull off a one-stop strategy

and for sure, Ferrari and Lotus are getting the most out of these tires (though Lotus is struggling with straight-line speed—just look at how much that little guy got stuck in traffic)

Yeah, it’s a shame 😢
GET INVOLVED
Kate McLaughlin: "Can someone please give Mark Webber a hug? He’s honestly one of the most genuine guys in Formula 1, he just can't seem to catch a break lately."

😁

Man, when the universe decides you're down, it really goes for the throat.
It'll pass 😁

edit:

BBC Formula 1 chief analyst Eddie Jordan
"The door was left open. There is no penalty there. As Mark said himself, this has compounded one of the worst weekends he's ever had."

Red Bull driver Mark Webber: "One view looks like Jean-Eric Vergne is giving me the line, the other looks more like it is me. It compounds an amazing weekend for me..."

1100:
BREAKING NEWS
Red Bull's Mark Webber has been handed a three-place grid penalty for next weekend's United States Grand Prix for his collision with Toro Rosso's Jean-Eric Vergne.

I don't even want to wrap my head around this right now—if they're calling it, I guess he's at fault. 🙂
Does anyone happen to have a link for Red Bull, please?
Drew Bennett68 said:I suppose we’re all just waiting for Kimi Räikkönen to say a few words...

Yeah, I get it now.
He's just rambling—honestly, the guy can barely even mutter a coherent sentence. 😁...while they were just sitting around waiting in the lounge.

Raymond Anderson4 said:That was a masterclass from Fernando Alonso.
His race management was incredibly smart... he played it safe by only making overtakes within the DRS zones, never leaving an opening for other drivers elsewhere on the track.
Those five monstrous laps from Sebastian Vettel were something else... the guy is an absolute beast when he needs to string together a sequence of blistering laps.

Red Bull really took a hit today; they completely let Mark Webber down with those clumsy mistakes.

x.

P.S. My absolute highlight has to be when Gumbek snatched that baby—these people are so obsessed with perfecting performance metrics and all that technical racing jargon, and then suddenly, out of nowhere, you get this smooth, effortless move from Gumbek that just leaves everyone stunned. image🤣
What did Kimi actually say? Did he even realize who 🤣😕
was? He clearly wasn't firing on all cylinders—which explains why he’s such a massive disappointment lately.

Nice job, Red.
Alex Fowler5 said:Missed Q1 and Q2. What the hell did Kimi do to get hit with a penalty?

Honestly, I think Adrian Sutil is just being a sore loser because Kimi outpaced him—I haven't actually seen what happened yet.

ps. 0723:

Force India's Adrian Sutil's race engineer tells him they've made it into Q2, though he admits it was "a bit of a struggle." The German, sitting at 14th on the times, shot back: "Kimi Räikkönen destroyed my lap. Tell the stewards."
cosmichawk12 said:They really ought to be handing out more soft tires—these ones just feel way too hard...

If we aren't seeing at least six pit stops per race, then it’s just not quite hitting the mark for me...

🤣
stormybadger8 said:Mark Webber is starting from the back.
I’m just hoping they let him start from the pit lane with some "minor adjustments"😁 like they did for Sebastian Vettel in Dubai...

😢🙄
stormybadger8 said:Mark Webber ran out of gas, while Sebastian Vettel claims his brakes gave out. 🤣

🤣

Do you see the kind of trench warfare going on down there? 🤣

No surrender here. ☕🤣
