Japanese GP: Mark Webber edges out Lewis Hamilton

🙂
The sad truth about this forum in Feedback & Suggestions ·
A while back, I made a few posts right here about how this place is constantly being swarmed by aggressive outbursts from certain groups—mostly those specific types of people who think they can AGGRESSIVELY DICTATE their own set of rules and "ways of life" upon us. We haven't had anything to do with their outdated standards for centuries now, yet somehow, they continue to be pushed and tolerated
.
Back then, most of that was just swept under the rug, along with plenty of other issues that were actually quite significant at the time
.

In my experience, I never really noticed our side launching similar raids on their forums, whether it was in virtual spaces or real-life settings like this
. image Besides, it’s about time they realized we’ve been an independent nation for quite a while now
.
I jumped back onto the politics section a few days ago after taking a several-month break, and unfortunately, I noticed that the platform still provides a stage for the most basic trolls and low-lifes—people acting like there's no tomorrow
.
It makes me wonder: is it finally obvious to everyone involved what kind of people are actually being hired? Their job descriptions seem to practically mandate this constant insistence on formal vs. informal distinctions, cheapness, mindless bullying, and occasionally having some weird, dark obsession with relics from the past. And yet, the people who actually care about maintaining the quality and decency of this forum are still being sidelined
.
At the end of the day, I don't really care 🙂

Exactly—even Amanda Kelly mentioned that Webber could really find his stride again now that he isn't dealing with those constant threats from behind.

You better watch out. ☕
Horner Said: "The championship is wide open. It's just annoying how Fernando keeps popping up on the podium right at the end of the Grand Prix.
"You have to include Mark, you have to include Jenson, even Kimi isn't far off and of course Lewis. There's six races left—150 points still on the table—so there's still plenty to fight for."
"Sebastian was trailing by 25 points with only two races left back in 2010, which just goes to show that anything can happen for any of these drivers.
"We need to keep taking points OFF Fernando, which really means we need to get a few more cars between us and him."

Man, Horner wants you to believe Mark is even in the conversation—you guys clearly have no clue.☕

😁

Look, everything you guys are typing here is perfectly clear to me, but I honestly don't get what Mark Webber's angle is here or why he's agreeing to this.

Yesterday, it felt like only the main duo actually drove a real race; everyone else looked like they were just showing up for qualifying.
Screw that.
wiredraven82 said:That whole movie was an absolute epic. 🙂 Even with all the high-tech bells and whistles we have at our fingertips today, nobody seems to be able to replicate that specific Excalibur caliber when it comes to this subject matter. There’s just an intangible quality to this film—that certain "something"—that modern tech simply can't quite capture. 🙂

It’s pretty much the same deal with Milious’s take on Conan—it follows that same pattern.

That whole fight scene in Gladiator was honestly a bit much for me—it was just brutal, bone-chilling stuff that really gets under your skin.

If you ask me, Game of Thrones just isn't quite hitting the mark when it comes to following in the footsteps of those old-school classics. It feels like it’s trying way too hard to chase the ghost of what made those legendary series great, rather than actually standing on its own two feet.
Yeah, alright—let's say there's still some hope. 😁

What's your take on this? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KnpnzM91zIA

Here we go again with that "my" Wagner crowd—it’s like they just can't help themselves. It's impossible to lose when you've already decided who the hero is. 😁

neonfalcon16 said:Basically, it’s all about Zurich. I’m sitting here, staring at nothing in particular, just thinking about those old Spaghetti Westerns.

Yeah... you're not wrong there—it’s a whole different breed of rage. 🙏
Edward Howard2 said:Of course we’re hyped 😍

And besides... it’s pretty obvious they knew about that gear issue before the race even started. They just decided to roll the dice instead of swapping the gearbox.
So yeah, they totally brought this on themselves.

Yeah, everything points exactly in that direction.

😵😵😵

Lewis Hamilton's race engineer: "We've got a gearbox failure. I'm sorry, we gave it everything we had yesterday."

🤷
It’s pretty obvious they didn't exactly perform a masterclass in repairs after yesterday's collision :zbunj:

I really feel for Hema 😢

😬

The professor finally got the respect he deserved—about time. 🙂
It’s honestly laughable watching Romain Grosjean act like he’s terrified of Mark Webber. 😬

Edward Howard2 said:Did you see him flip the bird?
Probably just his way of letting us know he's gonna jump ship for Massa next ☕

Nah, he definitely undercut him. 👎

😁
cosmichawk12 said:I've got a feeling Alonso is walking away with a podium tomorrow ☕

Man, Pastor Maldonado... I knew it—I just had this gut feeling right at the start of Q3 that things would shake out with him in second place... 🙂

Parts from that Williams car are going to be flying all over the track tomorrow, and as for who ends up being collateral damage... well, we'll just have to see...

You really nailed that one, I have to admit🤣
Everything we’re looking at right now will be sorted out by the pastor—honestly, there’s no reason to stress about it 😬

@ clark, you saw how much we absolutely crushed that Hemac guy, didn't you? 🙂
maybe he just lands a lucky punch 🙄🙄🙄
Nathan Jones98 said:I'm telling you, Kimi is painfully slow
honestly—just way too sluggish for anything meaningful

I think I heard they actually reverted back to the settings from the last race

and parts of it are redlining:

"Ferrari have so far not appeared to have the pace to challenge for pole position here but Fernando Alonso was as quick as anyone in the race-simulation runs on Friday. The team introduced a big upgrade package here, but it seems they abandoned the new rear wing - Alonso took it off halfway through the second session on Friday and it is not on the car again for this final session either. Having a new aerodynamic part that does not produce what they expected is a recurring theme at Ferrari and the team admitted it was 'a bit of a concern'."

And Red Bull is swapping stuff out too, isn't it? 😕
It’s an all-or-nothing situation for both Mark and Hemu—and let’s be clear, neither of them is some amateur playing at this, far from it.

Maybe if they get too aggressive trying to cut each other off, they’ll end up wrecking one another🤣 but honestly, at least then we won't be able to claim they didn't leave everything on the track to make it happen.🤣

Then again, maybe Kimi was just playing it safe yesterday; it’s hard to say for sure.
Vettel, Mark, Alonso, Webber

Look, if things go south tomorrow—if Alonso's engine fails or Vettel gets screwed over by a botched pit stop in a split second—you'll end up with that perfect, ironic picture from the start of this whole conversation 😁😁😁

(though Mark could always pull off a win; it’s not impossible 😳)
Don't go making a fool of yourselves—I'm telling you now, the truth is going to hit you like a freight train once everything settles down 🙂

Red Bull was absolutely tragic today, and that’s just the plain, unvarnished truth
Anyone who can't see that clearly is just clueless ☕
Good grief, don't get ahead of yourself 🙂

Honestly, I'd rather be the one driving the car than sitting here watching

Heh, exactly...

Right before practice started, I was scrolling through the site and saw this image—it looked straight out of The Matrix. I just stared at it and thought, "Well, screw it, that’s gotta be a sign." 😳😳😁

That’s actually how we were predicting things too—if you look back at the earlier posts, we all figured this could turn into an absolute bloodbath. 😁

And honestly, her helmet says more than a thousand words ever could. 😁😁😁

"i think The McLarens are still favorites as they look strong in terms of traction and low speed corners. But there's still a long way to go as the track improvement will be massive. FP2 should be interesting."
