Hey there.
Unlike you guys, who apparently had a miserable time thanks to some subpar organization, I actually didn't have a bad experience. Everyone seems to be complaining about those massive lines for food and chicken, but since I showed up around 4:30, I grabbed everything I wanted in five minutes flat. It got crowded later on, though I barely noticed because my girlfriend was too busy trying to calculate how much we’d need for two coffees, four beers, water, and a grilled cheese sandwich (yeah, we’re big fans of saving 😁). It took a while, but she figured it out before we even hit the queue.
The nighttime stuff was actually great—thank God people have smartphones 🙏
The sets were mostly okay. Some played at half-capacity stages, but they were pretty mediocre; just some wannabe rockers who felt the need to plug their damn new albums after every single song. I only stuck around because my girl was dancing her heart out... 🙂
After that, we were already mentally bracing ourselves for the afterparty. *Ku Klux Klan, Ku Klux Klan* Second line 😁 Who 🙂 Kim 😍
We headed home in a total trance, honestly having no clue which way we were going or where we were even headed. Right as we were exiting the park, my girlfriend realized we had $13 unused vouchers left over. So, we ended up trekking all the way back 😵
They were offering them to people for $30, but in the end, we got them from this nice guy who just wanted us to take his picture—he gave us $50 worth... 🤣
Hopefully, everyone gets luckier next year. We managed to pull it off... 👋
