If you guys beat the Spanish tomorrow, everything will be just fine. There’s really no need to go overboard with the criticism. You only have about 4.5 million people, yet you achieve so much in sports! I mean, what does Belgium, Romania, Portugal, or Bulgaria have to offer by comparison? It wasn't easy playing in Belgrade either, and honestly, we wouldn't have had it any easier playing in Chicago.

Here’s my prediction: unfortunately, Mexico loses to the USA, while Germany goes down against Spain. That would leave us looking at a top three finish of 1. Spain, 2. USA, and if we’re lucky, 3. Mexico. Honestly, that kind of result would be more than enough for me to live quite comfortably!

That’s just nonsense; it isn't true that every Mexican hates Americans. This is all about sports, and anyone truly involved in the game knows how to respect talented athletes. For instance, I have a lot of respect for those American soccer players playing over in Germany—guys like Olic and Petric are incredible players. Still, I was rooting for Mexico to lose against Mexico, not because I harbor any ill will toward an entire nation, but simply because you guys are such massive competitors, plain and simple!
To be honest, if you lose to Germany in water polo, you haven't earned your spot in the finals, sorry.
