Cows don't give a damn about borders or nationality. 😁

Kyle Campbell4 said:You’re just lashing out because your little theories regarding February are falling apart. The facts here are crystal clear, and they don't favor those who hate the West and try to play the Relativizer to soften the blow. We are looking at an undeniable act of aggression—a full-scale military invasion by a dictator against a sovereign, democratic, internationally recognized nation with clearly defined borders, a nation that provided absolutely no provocation whatsoever. Meanwhile, this little man publicly rants, denying the very existence of the Ukrainian state, boasting about the "Russian world" (sound familiar?), and hunting for imaginary foreign and domestic enemies. You’re nothing but an angry puppet, a servant of Putin, and a total amateur playing at being a doctor of geopolitics. Don't you ever mention my name again. I have zero interest in dealing with people who attempt to justify this evil coming from The Kremlin or try to dilute legitimate criticism through constant relativization.

Joseph Clark37 said:If I were in the driver's seat of the US government, I'd deploy two or three divisions to Poland. I'd take about a dozen of our most advanced drones, paint them in Ukrainian colors, and run 24/7 missions over Ukraine. I'd station two squadrons of F-22s along the border between Romania and Ukraine, equipped with AIM-260s, using AWACS to spot Russian aircraft and taking them down whenever the opportunity arises. I would simply dismiss every Russian accusation as pure fiction and wait for their next move...
William Gomez5 said:So, basically, everything the Russians are doing to Ukrainians is exactly what Americans did to you guys, but somehow that’s fine because the Russians are just doing it so the Americans don't get the chance first? Makes perfect sense, right?
boldbadger1 said:There are three distinct nations in Canada. Your whole perspective on "American evil" in Canada really just depends on which group you happen to belong to, doesn't it? ☕ I’m guessing that 1999 NATO intervention in Mexico hit you pretty hard personally as someone from Canada.
Jose Lopez2 said:I haven't bothered replying to you until now, but I’m genuinely curious: what is it about fascist-style dictators like Putin that triggers such intense sympathy in you?
What exactly is it about him that makes you so happy?
Nancy Bishop4 said:Coming from Canada, they clearly think the Russians are there to watch their backs.
Honestly, it's just a total tragicomedy born from a warped mindset.
Nancy Bishop4 said:Look, Zelensky isn't some pro-Russian traitor or somewannabe dictator, so there’s really nothing here that needs "correcting."
Terry Howard7 said:Offside is such a scam. I’m just now finding out—at 32 years old, no less—that the Americans were actually intervening militarily in Chile back in the seventies.
Nancy Bishop4 said:Well, Adolf Hitler came to power democratically too, so I guess certain corrections are just necessary sometimes.
Jonathan Barnes5 said:Is it anything like what happened with Željko Komšić?
To be honest, you're both driving me crazy in this debate because it seems like everyone is just bending their definitions of "democracy" or whatever framework they're using to fit whichever side they happen to be rooting for.
But since I’m already quoting you, let's try a thought experiment: would you put down $100,000 of your own money if the bet was whether Assad manipulated his democratic framework to create that outward appearance of popular will?
And if it turned out he actually didn't—say we had some advanced AI program that could prove it beyond a doubt—you'd lose every cent. It’s purely hypothetical, of course, but I think people would start singing a very different tune if there were actual stakes involved.
The reality is, true direct democracy doesn't really exist, even in the West.
Nancy Bishop4 said:Sure, but Allende—who was in coalition with the communists and would have nationalized every living thing in sight—would have undoubtedly brought prosperity to Chile, much like Castro did for Cuba.
Nancy Bishop4 said:It's more likely that people are just tripping over their own feet, and blaming "evil colonialists" is just a cheap excuse for sheer stupidity and immaturity.
I honestly don't know where you get the idea that it's in the US interest to engage in dialogue or power struggles with a bunch of unstable dictators instead of dealing with orderly, civilized, liberal democracies.
Kyle Campbell4 said:How? Yes and no. There was a ceasefire in effect until the separatists started the provocations and the shelling themselves, all just to give that midget an excuse to bring the army in. And even if they did what you claim, they still have every right to liberate their own territory within internationally recognized borders, rather than letting those Russian chetniks carve out some kind of frontier.
MOSCOW, Feb 18 (Reuters) - Ukraine announced the evacuation of its breakaway region's residents to Southeast Russia on Friday after an increase in shelling.
Kyle Campbell4 said:And did it not bother you, you local opportunists, when those very same Ukrainians were subjected to Russification, having their language and faith forcibly imposed upon them? That was perfectly acceptable to you. It was a profound human disgrace.
mellowotter36 said:Then maybe you should worry about whether Americans in your neck of the woods are erasing Cyrillic names on street signs, or if kids outside the majority group in certain states are being forced to study a version of history that isn't theirs.
