I’m totally lost on how to lock this thing down so people stop running off with my copies. I was skimming through the manual and saw there are two different ways to do it, but here's the kicker: if I go with the first method, will it actually hold up if the computer is powered off? Like, is someone still gonna be able to just walk up and start hitting the copy button even if the PC is dead?

Hey everyone, quick question about Word. I’ve got this document I need to blast out to a massive list of people. Basically, I just want to swap out the first and last names on each one since the rest of the text stays exactly the same. I’ve already got a spreadsheet ready to go—is there some way to make Word automatically pull those names into each individual doc? Hope you guys catch my drift.🙂

Look, even though those Scots managed to scrape a win against our guys back at Yankee Stadium, they’re honestly such a limited, underwhelming squad. Their attack is basically non-existent, and don't even get me started on their defense—it's a sieve. On the flip side, the Belgians are easily top 5 or 6 in all of Europe right now. They play some seriously high-level ball, and if you ask me, they’re gonna be heavy hitters in the upcoming tournament. The only thing missing is Kompany, but everyone else looks ready to go. edit: okay, finally cracked it. I just grabbed the whole chunk of text, dumped it into a fresh Microsoft Office doc, and boom—everything looks perfect on the new one. Honestly, don't even ask. I have no clue why it was acting up like that, just one of those weird, annoying glitches
Alright folks, I don't even know where to start because my head is absolutely pounding right now. In ten years of messing around with Word, nothing like this has ever happened to me.🙂 I was working on this graph that I had to draw manually, so I ended up using a Text Box to get everything positioned. Everything looked perfect last night, but when I went to hit print, some of the letters inside the Text Box just... vanished. They’re sitting right there on my screen, looking totally fine, but the printer acts like they don't exist. I tried moving the Text Box to a different page just to see if it was a layout glitch, but nope—same deal. It shows up on the monitor, but the paper comes out empty. What the hell happened? So, the stuff I marked is definitely typed into the Text Box and looks fine on my screen, but it just refuses to print.🙂
