So, my OB-GYN recommended I start using Clindamycin cream two days ago. Everything seemed straightforward enough, until my period decided to show up five days earlier than expected. I’ve been digging through the patient information leaflet, but it’s surprisingly silent on this specific issue. Does anyone know if I should pause the treatment until my cycle is over, or am I supposed to just push through and keep applying the cream regardless? Should I wait to restart once things clear up, or is there no harm in continuing during my period? Any insight would be appreciated.
Thanks in advance for getting back to me.

Hey Dan, just a quick heads-up regarding the Clindamycin: you probably shouldn't use it while you're on your period. It’s better to just hold off on the applications until that's over.
So, I just copied over a post from a doctor who was responding to a patient on some forum... now what?
