Hi there! I dealt with the exact same issue you're having about two months ago. For one week, I tried a strict diet consisting only of tea and dry toast. It worked initially, but then the symptoms flared up again three weeks ago. So, I decided to get some testing done. They found H. pylori in my blood, with a concentration three times higher than normal. I was prescribed three different types of antibiotics. I finished the treatment yesterday and nothing seems to have helped, so now I am looking into scheduling a gastroscopy to figure out exactly what is going on.
My advice? Get a gastroscopy done! Skip those little pills meant to soothe the symptoms; they only delay facing the actual problem. 😁 It might also be a good idea to do a breath test for H. pylori, since that is much more reliable than a blood test.
