It isn't quite like just popping a pill every day or getting an IV drip whenever you feel like it for three years. I guess what it really means is that for three years, you have to show up for this therapy at very specific times, and once you've received it, then that's it for the year.

Supposedly, the treatment happens every 21 days, though I suppose I'm not entirely sure if it's an infusion or something else altogether.
The joint pain is just killing me. I've started looking into things;
specialist findings:
- Dentist: all permanent teeth look healthy
- ENT: tonsillitis, surgery recommended
- EMG 🙏carpal tunnel syndrome on the left side
- Spinal X-ray: initial degenerative changes (spondylosis)
- Upper thoracic aperture scan: absence of cervical rib
- Hand and wrist X-rays: normal, though there are hints of RA?
- All blood, urine, and swab tests (not worth listing them individually): all normal
Diagnosis: Tonsillitis requiring surgery
Treatment: Eztencilin (if I read that correctly) at 2,400,000 units over at least three years
Follow-up: New blood work and check-up in six months.

So, what I am wondering about is why this penicillin therapy is necessary, why it lasts such a long duration, and how it actually works physically—is it an infusion, or maybe tablets?
The second thing is, since my finger joints have actually started to deform, maybe I should be asking about RA?
My doctor isn't really the type you can have a deep conversation with, so I will definitely seek out another
opinion, but I would first really love to hear your thoughts and any physician recommendations you might have.
